Chapter 32

Chandler's POV

I run the hallways of this amusement park but still don't see that same figure. I shoved most people that gets on my way but I am apologizing for it.

I run and run, never stopped but I couldn't find her, not until I reached the comfort room, I saw her in front of it, her hands are in her pockets. She turned her head towards my direction and I was startled so I hid behind the bonsai trees.

She then turned away from here and I was relieved. I don't want to be seen, not yet. I stayed here then stood and was about to call her but someone else called her from inside the male comfort room.

Instinctively, I know it's him. He really is stealing my girl away. I can't let him go away with it.

Ken turned and smiled to Thad--who was now outside the comfort room--and they started to move. Thaddeus put his other arm on Ken's shoulders. I could feel the adrenaline surge into my bloodstream. Going here really changed my mood, not into positive one, but into anger.

I trailed behind them and they must have sensed that someone's following them because they stopped. I approached Thaddeus and knocked him down when he turned. It was a strong punch. I hit his nose and it's bleeding now.

Ken shouted with concern and she saw me, her expression is shocked. "Chan! What have you done!?"

People gathered, some gasped and bewildered, while some are asking for help.

I looked at Ken, who was now kneeling down beside him. "You're in the office? Busy? Move aside!" I bellowed.

I then seized Thaddeus by the collar and punched him again. He was sprawled on the ground, more blood in his face. "Stop it!" Ken commanded.

But I was unaware, I am looking at Ken, when Thaddeus made it up and punched me back. Consecutive punches were thrown on my face. I stumbled over to the ground. I hold my face and saw blood gushing through my fingers.

He's stealing my girl, that thought made me strong enough to stood and approached Thaddeus. I punched him consecutively and never gave him a single chance to fight nor punch back. Blood all over his face, and I can say he's passed out. He deserve it. Steal my girl, and you're dead.

Then, somebody grabbed me from behind, stopping me. "Let me go." I said coldly, and I was released.

"Thaddeus!" Ken ran to him, kneeled down and cried. "What's gotten into you!? You hurt him!"

"Chandler! What did you do to Thaddeus?!" Chandria shown up from the crowd and looked at me with disbelief then approached the unconscious body of Thaddeus. "Oh, he is losing a lot of blood!" I heard her whispered.

I don't care about him! He's stealing my girlfriend so he deserves that!

I grabbed Ken by her wrist and walked away. She was resisting futilely with my grip but can't let herself go. "Thaddeus needs to go to the hospital!" She complained but I didn't stop nor turned my head until we are in front of the car.

I finally let her go, and she tried to come back to the park but I stopped her. "Hop on the car. We've got something to talk to, alone." I said, gritting my teeth.

"No, Thaddeus needs me!"

"Chandria will take care of him. Hop on the car, now!" I commanded. I have never been like this to her, I've never give her orders but tonight is different we need to talk about us. She looked at me with same disbelief as Chandria and then she opened the door of the car angrily.

I scoffed, circled the car and slid behind the wheels. For a moment, neither of us said nor looked at each other. I have too many to ask so why am I biting my tongue?

"Could you explain it? What were you doing there? You said you are in the office." I finally babbled.

She closed her eyes and calm herself, and I thought she's going to answer but she just sighed. I felt my rage rose again. I slammed the steering wheel and it'd made her winced. "Why can't you answer it!?"

"I... I was from the office. We just hang out there--" She stuttered.

"Hang out!? Why it has to be him? Why not me? I'm always free!"

"He... I called him. I did not remember you."

"You did not? What really am I to you? Am I just nothing for you now? "

"I don't know, but everything is different now."

"What do you mean different? Are you choosing that guy over me now?"

"No, that's not it. Listen to me--"

I cursed loudly, and she began to cry. "Tell me, baby. Do you still love me?Am I still the one?" I asked, really wanting to hear yes from her. Am I really still the one? Because for me, she's always be the one--my one and only girl.

She sniffled and wiped her tears away. "I don't know anymore."

I don't know how many times I slammed my hand on the steering wheel while crying my heart out.

"I did everything I could! I'd set aside every pain for you. I accepted that you couldn't join me to the orphanage, to my sister's house, to movie theaters, and today's my birthday, but you did not come! Do you not think I deserve an explanation for that? Even so, I know I would accept every reasons you have, valid or not! But letting him steal you from me, that is unforgivable!" I complained out loud. Bursting into tears while resting my head on the steering wheel.

"I did not ask you to do those, didn't I? I was not lying, you are! You're lying to yourself. You know things will never be the same again! Don't be blind, Chan. Stop this. Let's stop this..." She explained.

I sniffled. "Did I hear you right? You're breaking up with me? You want all of these sh*ts stop!?"

"You heard me right. I want it all stop. Let's break up." She has stopped crying and just talked coldly. She's not meeting my gaze.

So, I reached her head and made her look at me. Her hazel brown eyes are saying it too. "Do you really mean it? You want it?"

A single tear is streaking the side of her face, "I do."

Then, I let her go. What I am about to answer is painful, but it seems the right thing to do. "If that is what you want, I will let you do it. Let's stop this... I am letting you go." She opened the door and hopped off the car.

"Goodbye, Chan." Only then, I bursted into tears.
