1 Chapter 1

It was the start of weekends, and a teenager emerged from his school, clad in his usual attire. He made his way towards the waiting limousine parked in front of the school gates.

"Where do you want to go, young master?"

"Home"

Even though he was 16 years old, there was an air of maturity about him that set him apart from his peers. His name was Li Weifeng. The driver and his sister who was in the car as him failed to notice the change in him as his demeanor didn't change too much.

Li Weifeng and his sisters did not share the same mother. The elder sister had already enrolled in Celestia academy whereas this one was of similar age to him but still older than him by a few months. Their family was renowned for their mastery of ice magic, a talent that ran deep within their bloodline but for him rather, he had not awakened his talent even though his coming of age had passed six months prior, it seemed that he would be destined to lead a live devoid of fighting. Even though his sister and him looked distant, it was not like that years ago when they were still children but time had changed.

He sighed in his mind, his thoughts consumed by recent revelations. Why did he feel so detached from himself? It was because just a few days ago, he seemed to have gained insight into the future. Yet, the memories weren't his own; they belonged to another, a young man seemingly chosen for greatness, a child of destiny, a protagonist. Like a perspective from a third person he saw these memories. In those recollections, this individual resembled the protagonists of the novels he often immersed himself in—facing and triumphing over countless trials, ultimately emerging as humanity's savior.

But where did he fit into this supposed narrative of the future? He found himself cast as a villain, albeit a minor one. He seemed to have awakened but the awakened element was not the same as his family. Because of the treatment of some people around him because of his element and pressure, he may have turned into a villain. That was only some of the details he knew about himself in this future and it was still guess work.

He never wanted to hurt his sisters just because of some envy but since he didn't know the specifics of what had happened as he was in the perspective of the protagonist, he could not tell if he did in this supposed future and how did it happen. These memories left him with more questions rather than answers.

But one thing certain was that he died in this supposed future.

'Sigh'

With a heavy heart, he exhaled deeply as he tried to think of a way to change his future. The only way he could think of was to awaken early and not to get close with the villains, have no interaction with them and also to get stronger.

He thought as he looked at his sister, in his memory her along with the eldest had became very close with the protagonist, most likely lovers but it was only a mere guess as his memory only reached till a certain point.

Of course to obtain such two beautiful woman was already a gift but he couldn't shake the sting of jealousy knowing they weren't the only ones entwined with the protagonist. He was still a male even though he didn't have lustful nor inappropriate desires towards his sisters, it couldn't be helped that he wanted to curse at the luck of this individual in acquiring such beauties.

But he pushed aside these thoughts as he thought about his awakening. It seemed that he was able to awaken as he was able to get into Celestia academy which only accepted geniuses and talents and was the most famous academy in Auroria. But how did he awaken was the question. It was definitely before he went to the academy as he would have enrolled as a researcher if he hadn't awakened.

As for the protagonist, he didn't awaken normally, he was awakened earlier than normal people. The protagonist had stumbled into a rift by accident, triggering his powers during a battle with a monster.

So should he go into a rift and do it the same. Whether he would get it or not he was not sure but he didn't want to risk his life for nothing. He didn't think he was as lucky as a protagonist. But he had an idea of how he would do this.

The limousine entered through the gates towards the imposing mansion which was beautifully decorated. The garden was filled with workers as they tended to their works.

The limousine stopped in front of the mansion doors which were already opened along with a butler who opened the door for them. He stepped down from the limousine whereas his sister didn't. It seemed that his sister had somewhere to go.

 __ __ __

Every person in this world awakened their elements at the age of 16 or even earlier. There hasn't been a case of being longer than 16 and 16 was known as the coming of age and teenagers would become adults at this age. For him, even though six months had passed after his coming of age, he still hadn't awakened but it seemed more time was just needed as he had awakened in the future in his memory but he didn't know whether to trust this just yet.

But he wanted to awaken not only because he wanted to better protect himself against future dangers but also to protect his dream and future. Many boys would have had a dream once in their life of wanting to become the strongest. For him now that hasn't changed, he just wanted enough to protect himself and those who are around him. And for that, he needed to be the strongest.

He asked the butler if the items were ready and the butler gave him a storage ring containing all the items. Coming from a big family, it was easy for him to get these items. It was not the first time he had asked for various items. He was intending to pursue something as a researcher if he were if he didn't awaken in the future. Of course it didn't mean that he would stop training and his want to become strong, it was just that he would train his other talent while he waited himself to awaken.
