3 Chapter 3: , Hey, big brother, you got this!

Take a seat and get ready!

Li Ya, a fan of DC, was shocked to discover that a girl named Lana Blue, just like the character Little Superman loved in his teenage years, had the same name. Who would have thought they were the same person?

Li Ya mustered up the courage to push Lana off him, but she leaned down slightly, kissed his cheek, and whispered, "My aunt went to the city to run errands. I'll be home tonight. Will you... come help me with my homework?" Then she got up and left, leaving Li Ya bewildered.

Wow, do all your girls play like this?

Li Ya closed her eyes and muttered, "Don't tease me, my friend's wife!"

Wait, didn't you hear that Lana asked me to help her with homework? Li Ya's face turned innocent. "Just studying together won't make you pregnant!"

Besides, Superman's official love interest is Lois Lane. In history, Superman has never been with Lana, so there's no messy couple pairing!

He suddenly realized that being a ladies' man in this town was quite advantageous.

When Li Ya returned home at noon, there was no one there. His uncle, a sheriff, was busy with work, and his aunt had long left for the city.

Li Ya grabbed some potato steaks from the refrigerator and fried them briefly.

In the evening, doing homework at Lana's house seemed more important than football training. As long as Clark was happy, Li Ya would go to Lana's place at night and be on his best behaviour.

No grand gestures, just small gifts and desserts.

Maybe Whitney's character card was still working its magic. Li Ya was determined to please the girls. The key was to buy and give.

With a small gift and a little surprise, the created sense of romantic ritual could instantly melt the other person's defences, and then anything could happen!

With these thoughts, Li Ya couldn't help but slap himself. Why was he so clueless? No wonder he was single!

During his lunch break, Li Ya went to the town's streets to buy everything he needed. Boldly, he went to a convenience store and bought a dozen boxes of condoms.

At the checkout, the cashier had a sly smile on his face. Li Ya returned the same smile. Men understood each other, after all.

"In the land of China, I was more cautious about this. In the United States, it's as normal as eating and drinking."

Li Ya felt a little guilty, but the thought of finally losing his virginity tonight made him think he could handle a little contamination.

In the afternoon, Li Ya arrived at the playground with a box of soda and found Clark already waiting.

"Hey Clark, have you been here long?"

To Li Ya's surprise, his friendship with Little Superman had increased by 10% after just a short time, reaching 60%. Only 40% are left to achieve the next level of friendship.

Clark smiled warmly at Li Ya. "I've been here for a while."

"Did your father agree so easily?" Li Ya thought Mr. Kent would refuse.

"We argued, but he finally gave in. I believe I can do well!" Clark said firmly.

Li Ya understood what he meant. In other words, Mr. Kent would be cautious and not hurt the weak Earthling.

The rest of the training camp members started arriving, including some cheerleaders. Thanks to the influence of Whitney's character card, Li Ya was now the center of attention.

When Whitney saw Li Ya, he greeted him. "Li Ya, do you want to join the training?"

"Not just me, my friend Clark Kent as well."

Li Ya introduced them, and Whitney smiled and said to Clark, "I was planning to recruit

you already, Kent. Since you're with Li Ya, we'll train together!"

Clark had no objections. He looked at Li Ya gratefully and said, "Thank you. You're popular in school!"

Seeing the envy in Little Superman's eyes made Li Ya feel proud. "As long as you make more friends, you'll be just as popular."

As they chatted, the cheerleading team began rehearsing. Lana stood at the front, holding two bouquets and waving at Li Ya and Clark.

Li Ya noticed Clark's soft gaze at Lana, a tender moment that was unexpected from the Iron Body Superman.

"Love is a confusing thing," Li Ya mumbled.

Soon, the training began. Li Ya and Clark were assigned to the rookie team, consisting of newcomers who had participated in training for less than a year. The other team was formed by Whitney and other seniors.

Everyone wore protective gear, and with the coach's whistle, the game started.

American football was different from traditional football. It involved holding and ramming the ball rather than kicking it. It was visually striking and considered a sport for tough men.

Li Ya didn't fully understand the rules, so he just ran alongside Clark. As a key player in the new team, Clark charged ahead with the ball.

Despite his role, Clark made an effort to control himself. Whenever someone tackled him, he would stop and act as if he was knocked down.

In reality, not even a car could harm him!

After breaking through the opponent's defence, Clark kicked the ball over the goal crossbar, scoring three points. The opposing team barely had time to react.

The cheerleaders cheered, waving their coloured pompoms and shouting Clark Kent's name. When Lana shouted his name, Clark smiled innocently.

"You're doing great, my brother!"

Li Ya appeared next to Clark, patting him on the shoulder, but Clark didn't respond. His attention was focused elsewhere.

Well, those details didn't matter anyway.
