Getting Up Again

I'm trying my best to cheer Madison up. She has been down in the dumps for weeks. I can't believe Juilan left her the way he did. He could have least had the decency to tell her to her face instead of text me. To make matters worse he blocked Madison and took down all his posts down that pertained to her.

I called Lucas to come over and help me think of something we could all do together. He agreed but pleaded that we go on a date soon because our last date was when he asked me to be his girlfriend. I almost forgot to mention the big bright setting he made me. He bought me flowers and chocolate, basically everything that Madison calls definite boyfriend material.

"Madison, please change your clothes." I begged

"I don't feel like it." she winned

"Madison, this is getting pathetic. Are you really going to let this break up break your life? I mean you already got fired from your job. You're lucky that Lucas is so sweet and is helping us until you get on your feet again." I stated

"Don't remind me it's embarrassing." she stammered

"Well, I'll continue. I need to get you to realize that lounging around isn't fixing anything." I announced

"Fine, you win but just because I can't handle you acting like a mother figure." she uttered

I smiled and stepped outside for some fresh air. My mother would be proud of me for helping Madison out. Which reminds me I'm going to have to talk to mom and dad soon. They're probably waiting on pins and needles for my decision. I just don't want them to freak when I tell them I'm not choosing heaven or hell but earth.

"Luna, what do you think?" Madison asked closing up the house

"You look much better, definitely an upgrade from what you've been wearing. Wow, did you even brush your teeth?" I teased

"Yes, I did, I even used some mouthwash. Can you believe it?" she asked sarcastically

"I don't know I might faint." I said

We saw Lucas' vehicle pull up and Bella's face sticking out waving at us. I have a feeling Bella is up to something.
