A Step In The Right Direction

"This place looks small. How many other people live here?" I asked Juilan

" How am I supposed to know? people move in and out of here all the time. That's why I never bother speaking to anyone here." he said

"I was just trying to make conversation." I said.

"It's alright I just have a lot on my mind right now." he sighed

"It's okay we all do but right now we're here to help you." I said

Julian unlocked his door and made a run for the bathroom. I waited eight minutes and was getting concerned. I knocked on the bathroom door and heard water running. He must be finally washing his hands. I'll go grab something to drink.

I went to the refrigerator and grabbed some Root Beer which claimed it was soda even though it had beer in its name. I went over to the bathroom and heard talking so I gave Juilan his privacy.

"Hey sorry about that I got a call and had to take it." he said

I nodded my head.

"Come this way I already have most of my things packed up. For the most part they just need to be taped up." he said

I helped Juialn tape the boxes and label them. We were going to drive home but Madison texted and said she grabbed lunch and she'd be over soon. Julian decided we should pick a movie to watch afterward for sentimental reasons.

He let me choose the movie so of course I picked out a horror film. We started the movie so we could go ahead and have all the previews finished. Madison arrived while we were in the living room.

"Watching a movie without me. How nice." she said teasingly

"No, we were watching the previews so when you got here we could go ahead and start it." Julian responded

"Alright, now both of you get ready to catch." Madison said

She threw both of us something wrapped.

"Thanks babe" Juilan said

"Yep. Now press play." she commanded

We both ate our burritos, Madison bought us while watching "My Last Victim".
