Altering Fate: what happens if the storyline is changed

Everyone loves a classic cliché right? I did, now I am not sure. CRASH!!! That sound was of a truck ramming into me. I was reborn, obviously in a dangerous world. I will beat those who stand against me and become the most powerful figure. MHA, get ready for a twist. A new character is born. A troubled teenager is reborn with a knack for ruthless survival and a thirst for power. With a system to help her and a creative mind, will she bring the world crashing down? How will she become stronger and will the denounced useless system help? NOTE: Hi everyone, this is my first fanfic I hope you enjoy and connect with the original plot from time to time.

Hero Names

The next day at the UA I was sleepy. Perhaps I need to catch up on my sleep again. I yawned as I entered the noisy class. Everyone was still excited about the sports festival and were chatting even more than usual. I sat at my seat and waited for Aizawa to come. Everyone was chatting as Aizawa entered the classroom.

Noticing that his bandages were no longer there, Tsu cheerfully exclaimed. "The old lady got over dramatic with her treatment. But let's put that aside for now. Today's Hero Informatics period is a little special….IT'S TIME TO FORMULATE YOUR HERO NAMES!" Aizawa's words piqued my interest but I was too lazy to react much. My class on the other hand went bonkers. They were glad that there were no life threatening situations or crazy duals, instead we were going to do something fun.

Aizawa continued, "This is related to the draft nomination by the Pros I mentioned the other day. The nominations will only start mattering when you've gained experience and your adaptable fighting ability is judged during your sophomore and senior years… In other words, The nominations you're getting this year are more akin to expressions of 'interest' in your future potential. And it is not that rare that interest dries up by graduation or is unilaterally dropped. So I guess….." His voice trailed off in my years as I was bored.

I put my head on my arms and gazed out the window. I started thinking about which agency I should join. Midoriya will go to Gran Torino to control One for All. The hero killer incident will happen this time so I should be there to help them in the fight. Hosu City if my memory serves me right. My chain of thoughts were broken at the excited shouts of my classmates when Midnight entered.

I didn't want to change my name and would have to only announce it so I was going to ignore them again but Aizawa called me out. "Hana, since you have a name please come and present to the class so that they may learn. After all, everyone here has a terrible naming sense." I smiled at his words and the others complained. I went to the front of the class and showed my board. There was the word 'Shadow' written in beautiful handwriting.

"I picked my Hero name to be 'Shadow : The Hidden Guardian'. Since I don't like attention and want to protect people I chose this name. Also I want to say choose a name that projects you as a person. Don't make your quirk too obvious unlike Eraserhead" I walked back to my seat. Everyone was happy that I got revenge for them and Aizawa got irritated. Midnight joked about my words and kept talking.

I knew what their names were going to be so I ignored them again. I started thinking about the internships. I didn't get a list as I already have a Hero License. I can choose to go to a random agency to help out but it is not exactly an internship. I saw everyone discussing where they would go. Uraraka, who noticed that I and Midoriya didn't get a list, asked out loud. This attracted attention.

Knowing that Midoriya was not scouted at all I decided to save him from embarrassment by putting their focus on me. Midoriya was stuttering so in a loud clear voice I said, "I don't know Midoriya's reason but I actually won't be doing internships." "What! Why?" Everyone questioned me, even Todoroki and Bakugo turned their heads. "I don't need to go as I have a hero license."

Except Midoriya who was grateful and proud everyone's jaws fell. Even Todoroki looked like a shocked emoji before becoming more determined. Bakugo became even angrier seeing that I was too far for them to catch up. I went over to Aizawa who was leaving and started a conversation. "I want to go to Tokyo. Inform the Pros and police." Aizawa looked at me and said, "Alright, where in Tokyo?" I smirked, "The whole thing." He saw my smile and understood that I was planning something so he answered, "Ok I will inform them. Don't overdo it. We don't want a repetition of your Hero exam." I nodded and said "No promises."

I walked back into the class with everyone having fun. I looked over at Iida and Todoroki before walking to Midoriya. Midoriya and Uraraka were talking loudly but Iida was not participative. I didn't disturb and only listened with a smile. Midoriya soon left with All Might to discuss Gran Torino. I know All Might will scare him but I didn't want to interfere.

All Might thought I didn't trust his training of Midoriya and felt it was lacking and hence I proposed Gran Torino. I gave a straight-forward, honest opinion. He cried, I comforted and the day went by. All Might and my relationship is stronger now. Even Midoriya is less protective. It is weird but nice. I went home and trained for a while. After eating a snack and sleeping for a long time I went on a mission and gained points.

I have a habit of storing points rather than using them. I guess my previous middle-class self still exists. I stopped thinking about my past life and instead went to the lab. I updated Aida and checked her programing a thousand times. Although Aida is my android it is still risky for her to want human emotions or life. I have to make it mimic human interaction not understand it. I need to keep a check on her to make sure she is normal.

Aida is smart and thanks to the system, her first priority is always me. She only has 2 parameters, protecting me and following my orders. Seeing that there are no loopholes I released her again. I put a ring on her finger to keep lustful humans and Mineta off her. The ring itself was part of her system. Through the ring Aida could communicate with me through a holographic screen, passing information and documents I need.

'Stain is ruthless. Unfortunately I am too.' I thought looking at the information about him.
