Mission 5 ://: Team 7 Rescue the Last Descendant

This team is composed of a Scout, a Assassin, a Thief, a Spy and and a Hunter.

The role of the Thief is to steal anything useful and important without being scene. It is considered the harder role than than the rest because the Thief must have the skills a thief should have. Lock picking, safe cracker, pick pocket, and many more ways to steal what they need, and must do it without being seen or noticed. A Scout and a Spy couldn't handle those parts, neither do the Assassin.

The cult received an intel from one of their informants that the Empire has captured a young demon with crimson skin. It shocks all the cult members as far as they know, all the Crimson Demon's relatives have been mercilessly killed during the war.

It could be other type of demon but they are nervous. That demon could also be one of the descendants. The cult wanted answers so they went to visit their high priest, who have been praying to the Crimson Demon's totem.

When they mentioned about the alarming news, the high priest didn't seem to be panicking. Rather, they are very composed and by the looks of it, expected it.

The high priest asks their god for answers and one thing that enters their mind, is to go rescue the young crimson demon. The high priest gave the order to Team 7 as the liberator. The team accepted the mission.

The team prepared their supplies and equipment for the journey to Alba Dorata Kingdom, where the said young demon is being held at. Alba Dorata is part of the Impero del Sole west from the Altare Cremisi Church. It is a long way to walk to but the cultists are never normal humans. They only carried what are necessary for their trip and choose the forest path to travel faster. The Scout is great at navigating through the forest and the Hunter is able to determine which path they should take to get there.

The cultists have reached the kingdom half the time of traveling from the church to here. The Scout went on ahead and scouts the area. The Spy quickly changed to their disguise as a licensed mercenary of the Alba Dorata Kingdom. They did come here occasionally for espionage missions from the orders of the high priest.

The Assassin and the Hunter waits in the forest and the Thief is preparing their tools. Various type of lockpicks, customized knife, customized black jack, and climbing equipment is in the Thief's backpack.

The lockpicks are for picking and unlocking locks that requires a key. A customized knife is for cutting things and it is easy to conceal under their gauntlet. The customized black jack is a baton that have sharp talons on its head. Not only it is a self defense weapon, it is also a climbing equipment that can hold on frames on the wall. The other climbing equipments are simply normal climbing equipments like rope.

Even though the Thief can jump very high, it creates too much noise and will alert anyone. Their abnormal strength has more issue, since they most likely will fail the simple task of lock picking if they don't control their strength. Being a Thief is harder than it seems for the cult.

As for the other cult members, they each have their cult daggers in their arsenal except for the Spy and have each respective tools. Like crossbow and bolts for the Hunter, telescope and compass for Scout, ledgers and fake identity for the Spy, and smoke bombs for the Assassin.

The mission begins as the Spy have entered the Alba Dorata Kingdom by the gates under the name "Percezione Jackson", a mercenary from the north. The Scout lead the Thief to the best possible route of entry in the kingdom where there are least people are around. It is all up to the Thief to find his own way to the kingdom prison.

The Hunter prepares sleeping gas bombs in case of emergency and the Assassin observes the Soldato Imperiale who are tasked to patrol the kingdom's important location, such as the castle and the church. The Scout already finished their role to scout the area and sent news to the Thief and the Spy.

The Spy gathers more information as Percezione Jackson in the local mercenary guild. They needed alot of gold in order to access information that is allowed for certain people. They could only get rumors about the young crimson demon and the rest is classified information.

The Thief advances their way to the kingdom prison. They bypass the security by taking tight routes where the guards aren't paying attention to, and use the shadows to their advantage.

When they reached locked doors, they will pick the lock with their lockpick. They are trained to control their strength and focus on their job. The lockpick hits the correct pins and unlocked the door without having an issue.

The prison is heavily secured. There are alot of wardens guarding the prisoners. The Thief climbed on top of a beam from the ceiling to hide. Noticing that the beams are parallel to each other, the Thief jumps from one to another to move forward. They pay attention to the prisoners.

There are alot of humans who seem to have committed grave crimes if they aren't sent to the jail. There are brazen and tough looking men who were thirsty for blood. There are also others who lost their mind and started to go crazy. Because of the noise that these prisoners make, it masked the noise of the Thief's movement.

Unfortunately, the Thief cannot find the young crimson demon in the prison. They think they got the wrong information or doesn't have enough information. They have to look again. At that time, the Thief eavesdrops the wardens from above, hoping they will get new information.

The Scout is looking at the prison from the outside. Looking for something unusual. With the help of the telescope, they discovered that the guards are transporting a big container pulled by the horses. They found it interesting so they had to call the Spy to investigate.

The Spy received the request for help so they dropped their identity to change to something new. Carefully creeping from the shadows, they spotted the guards that are transporting the big container. One guard is vulnerable so they quickly grabbed him from behind and snapped their neck. They have killed one person for today.

They undress the guard and changed to theirs then quickly returns to the transport before anyone could notice. The Spy is now spying as a guard in charge of the container.

The Thief came out empty handed. They couldn't find the young crimson demon in the prison. They needed to leave but accidentally bumped into the maid servants. The maid servants screamed and alarmed the guards. The Thief quickly runs for their lives since they cannot handle multiple enemies at once.

A loud sound of the horn is heard and the Assassin knew what that means. They went to the prison by jumping from the roofs. They jumped very high and very quick and they have reached the prison. The whole area is in lockdown.

The Assassin quickly sneaks in through an opened window and enters the prison. The wardens are nowhere to be seen and the prisoners are quite concerned of what is going on. The Assassin has a bright idea. They smashed the prison cells, freeing the prisoners.

The prisoners are quite manic now that they are free. They caused chaos and killed all the people that stands on their way, giving the Assassin the benefit. The Thief looks back and finds that there are lesser guards chasing them down. They wondered what happened.

The Scout follows the Spy from the rooftops and surprised to see the Hunter came by. The Hunter told what happened. Since the guards are transporting a big container, it is likely that the big container contains other prisoners.

The Spy looks at the rooftop and sees a bright light. The Scout is using a piece of glass to reflect the sun, signaling the Spy that something is bound to happen. Even though it is not part of the plan, the Spy stays away from the container.

The Hunter throws 5 sleeping gas bombs near the big container. It exploded and a cloud of smokes surrounded around the big container. The guards and the horses fell asleep and so is the prisoners inside. The Hunter comes down wearing a gas mask.

They smashed the door open with a metal rod. It took them 10 hits. They looked what is inside and found the young crimson demon together with the other prisoners. They carefully carried the demon out and yells toward their fellows.

The cultists started to make haste. The Thief and the Assassin have meet up and runs together but got blocked by a barrier. A mage is present in the scene. The Assassin used all their might to crack the barrier open. Ground begins to shake and everyone in the area stumbles down to their feet.

They jumped to the rooftops and used that route to escape to the gate. The Soldato Imperiale chases them down, yet they cannot catch up. The cultists are just too fast and they got away. They flee in the forest.

The chaos is still happening in the kingdom so the Soldato Imperiale have no choice but to give up, and help subdue all the escaped prisoners once and for all. It became a bloody war inside the kingdom.

The cultists meet up and they successfully rescued a young crimson demon. The demon is a young girl with crimson skin and blue hair. The cultists are surprised because they found it strange. She doesn't look like a relative of the great Crimson Demon.

They have no choice but to return to the church along with the young Crimson Demon.

Upon their return, many cultists are surprised. Even the high priest found it strange. They certainly heard that this child must be saved.

The young crimson demon is badly bruised and her temperature is hot. Some of the cultists pity her. They wanted to help her. The high priest is confused and doesn't see any reason why they should keep her. But since it was them who ordered the rescue mission, the young crimson demon officially becomes the Altare Cremisi's mistress.

All the Healers from the cult did their best to nurse her back to health. 10 days later, the young mistress wakes up. She looks up to an unfamiliar ceiling that she doesn't know about. She also smells something tasty. She looks around and her red ruby eyes widens.

She is in different place. The Healer fell asleep due to exhaustion of magic. Her first reaction is that she backs away in fear, seeing a human. But then her stomach rumbles. That woke the Healer up. The young mistress grabs the blanket and covers herself.

The Healer is surprised but is happy now that the young mistress have gotten better. They reassure her that she is safe. The young mistress is still afraid. The Healer takes out a bowl of porridge for her. They said that she must eat it to be healthy then leaves her alone.

The young mistress slowly calms down. She looks at the bowl of porridge. It worries her because of how different it is from the usual grub she used to eat. She slowly grabbed the bowl and have a little sip. The taste is good. The young mistress gulped the porridge down and suddenly gets choked.

The Healer came back with the water and lets her drink it. The Healer tells her about the situation that happened. On how they rescued and take care of her and the fact that she is officially the young mistress of Altare Cremisi.

The young mistress finds it weird but decides to trust them because of the food. Together with the Healer, she approaches the one who is in charge, the High Priest. The High Priest politely greeted her. The young mistress is surprised.

She asked why she was rescued. The High Priest tells her that it was fate. They rescued her because of her resemblance to the late great Crimson Demon. It has been 200 years when the demon tribe with crimson skin became extinct. She was the first young crimson demon they have seen so far.

The High Priest asked her if there are any of her relatives of her who are still alive. Unfortunately, the young mistress cannot remember her past, even her name. She only remembers her prisoner name, Cagna. It made the High Priest furious.

Right now the young mistress is now part of the Altare Cremisi. The High Priest vowed that the cult will serve her as someone important. It happened too fast but the young mistress appreciated their help. She is grateful from the bottom of her heart for rescuing her from her captors.

The mission is now completed and a grand feast is celebrated for the young mistress.
