6 His every touch

He moves both of my wrists into his right hand and wraps his left arm around me to place his hand on my stomach. Small bursts of electricity shoot from where he is touching my stomach, straight down to between my thighs.

"Stop," he growls into my ear. "Or you'll regret it". He digs his hips into my backside, and I stop moving when I feel his hardness against me. My breath is too fast and the feel of his body is overpowering, although not unwelcome. He is being indecently tempting while I am admittedly too emotionally vulnerable to make a smart decision. His hand on my stomach pulls my bottom half towards him and he presses farther into me with a groan of appreciation.

His hot breath on my ear is sending tingles down my spine, so when he licks up my neck, I gasp in pleasure. Overwhelmed with sensations, my muscles loosen in submission. This shouldn't happen. I don't know this man so I shouldn't be doing this, but it is hard to not enjoy this. His every touch, his every word is effecting me.

He makes the decision for me though, as he pulls back and steps away. The shower isn't very big, so he can't step too far away. I take another moment to calm myself before turning around to face him. "What was that for?" I ask as I turn back towards him.

He narrows his eyes at me. "I told you, you needed to cool down. This was the best way to do it".

I scoff at him. "The best way was for you to take a shower with me?"

"No," he rolls his eyes at me, "the best way was for you to take a shower. Me being in here wasn't the plan, but when you wouldn't stay in the water I had to improvise". I had the sense to look chagrined, only a little though, because he could have made that clearer to me before. Right?

I frown when I realize he did tell me that, but I had panicked and wasn't listening. "The water was cold." I retort weakly. He stares at me like I should have realized something. After a minute of us just staring at each other, he explains, "Yes, the water was cold...so you could cool down. Now that it's working, you'll see that the water doesn't feel as cold".

He's right, the water is starting to feel warmer. I glance away in embarrassment before looking back into his captivating gaze. His smug smile tells me he knows how he is affecting me. I am quickly reminded of how he said he could smell my attraction to him, so I bite my lip in concentration as I scramble to try to clear my head. The smile drops from his face as his gaze zeroes in on my lips and his pupils dilate.

He adjusts himself in his pants and clears his throat, and I think my lady parts are now on fire.

"And you are?" I finally ask him.

He seems to take a moment to decide how to answer before saying, "Ryker. Your student president at Alpine Crescent Academy, a school for new werewolves".

My face scrunches up in confusion. "Werewolves?"

He runs a hand down his face and groans as he looks back up to me. "Yes, werewolves. You were bitten, Layla. And I am here to take you to the academy so you can learn about your new life as a werewolf".

Ryker awkwardly leads me out of the shower and we both take a few minutes to dry off in silence. I lead him down to the kitchen and start to make some tea for us. When the water heats up, I place a tea bag in two mugs and place one in front of each of us before sitting down at the table.

"Alpine Crescent Academy?" I start the conversation again as I take a sip from my mug. The warm liquid splashes in the back of my throat and soothes my nerves. My world might be going to hell, but atleast there will be tea. A cup of tea can solve anything.

I glance back at Ryker as he takes his first sip as well. He mentioned that he is the class president and so he must be part of the welcoming committee. Not that I'm going to complain about that. Even though I don't know him, that hasn't stopped my body from responding to him. My attraction to him is stronger than I have ever felt before.

For now, I need to box it up and tamp down my neediness. This is not the right time, or place. Ryker said he is here to take me somewhere, and I need to find out if I should be running for the hills or not.

Ryker nods. "All nippers are required to attend the academy for two years. If you complete the requirements, you can graduate and assimilate back into society."

"Nippers?" I muse.

"It's what we call newly turned wolves. Werewolves in their infancy." I give him a blank look, so he continues. "You know, because we bite". He flashes me his canines and does a playful bite. I blink at him, and he grins at me.

I clear my throat and take a sip of my tea to give me a moment, and his grin only grows.

"So now that I was bit by a werewolf, I need to attend the academy," I state and he answers with a firm nod.

"Yes. At the academy, you will learn how to harness your new abilities as a werewolf and once you have a good handle on it, you can assimilate back into human society. For now, however, it is safer for you, and safer for your loved ones, if you attend the academy."

I look to the side as my face drops and my heart grips tightly at those words. I don't have any loved ones left. My parents are gone, and I don't feel the need to speak to Javier again after what he has done. But, I still have friends that I care about. And I wouldn't want to put them, or anyone, at risk if I am dangerous.

While I first sat down and began talking with him, I was also mentally going through a checklist of how I can escape my soon-to-be kidnapper if things went south. Yet, what he is saying does make sense. With the amount of anger I have been feeling, and how it has been reaching new heights I have never experienced before, it is likely I will explode at some point. And if I can protect others from me? I will go without hesitation.

"How did you know?" I ask him before taking another sip of my tea. When he stares at me, I add "That I was bit and turned into a werewolf."

"Ah," he nods in understanding. "Sadie reported it."

"Sadie?"

"The female wolf that was there when you were bit." He answers hesitantly while his gaze flickers over my face.

"...Oh! The blond that likes to take it from behind. Javier seemed to like that position too." I state crudely. Ryker suddenly chokes on his tea and pounds on his chest to clear his airway.

I take another sip of my tea. "Was she the one who turned him?" He nods in confirmation, so I continue. "I have had some time to think about it these past couple of days, and I played that night over and over in my head. He had been acting differently, so I assume the change had to be recent." He nods again. "Where is he now?" After Javier got thrown through the window, I couldn't hear what had happened to him and I no longer smell him nearby.

Ryker looks closely at my face while he tells me, "I had him removed from the premises and taken home." When I don't have any reaction, he seems satisfied and takes a sip of his tea. I am not sure if he is hinting that I should have a reaction, perhaps I should be curious who is with Javier right now, but I decide to lock those thoughts up tight and to not overthink things. It's best to leave it, and him, behind and to move on.

"Do you..." he starts to ask with a playful look. He looks down for a second and seems to settle on something, before looking back up and finishing his question. "Do you like that position too?". My mouth opens in shock, and it takes me a few moments before I clear my throat and gather my thoughts.

"I wouldn't know," I tell him honestly. I don't see any reason to hide this fact, I am not ashamed of making the decision to wait until I feel comfortable enough with a partner to have sex. Yes, there aren't many people who are still virgins at 18 years old...but, what works for one person, may not work for others. And in this case, my thoughts on this matter have kept me safe and responsible, so I feel good about my decision. It doesn't mean that others who have made a different decision was wrong, it just means that my decision was right for me.

He looks me over slowly, looking for any hint that I might be lying to him. When my face remains stoic, a cheerful grin comes across his tempting lips. "That's good to know."

Ryker's face changes as he gets back down to business. "As I'm sure you have come to realize, ordinary humans do not know of the existence of werewolves. With the exception being that they are another type of magical being, or going to become one soon - which we can get into another time".

"And if a human does find out about werewolves…" I start to say.

"A Sage is contacted to perform magic that will erase any memories or knowledge they might have that would put the supernatural community at risk. Sages are beings with magical inclinations. For most, they can perform magic with the assistance of a precise set of words and objects, such as herbs or other plant matter." Well that...is news. But as I am already numb and chock-full of new information, this particular revelation did not startle me.

I put my teacup down and ask, "So what's next?".

He puts his cup down as well. He stands up from the table, bends slightly at the waist and lays his palm out for me to take. "Next, we go to Alpine Crescent Academy". I slowly reach my own hand towards his outstretched palm, but before I reach him I look into his eyes. "You're coming with me?" I ask him.

He smiles at me and nods his head yes. For some reason, that answer comforts me. I place my hand in his, and let him guide me towards my new reality, a world where werewolves and other magic beings exist. A world where I was bitten and am now one of them.
