131 Forgive me

[Layla POV present day]

The presence invades my mind like an immense and unstoppable force of nature. I am weightless, suspended in darkness as it churns around me and invades my every pore. My voice is taken from me right before my mind is lost to it as well. 

I don't have any time for fear and regret that I may have made the wrong choice. This presence had been prodding at my mind for so long that it was easy to let it slip past my defenses, and now that I have let it in, I can feel it as it starts to read and learn me. 

It's then that I realize that I can do the same. As soon as I pay closer attention to the darkness swirling around me, colors and images dance through my head in a long series of transmitted memories. This presence isn't a singular entity, it is the conglomeration of power given by hundreds of Sages throughout the academy's existence.
