111 Battle at the academy pt. 4

We stare at each other for a few moments, neither saying a word until I finally break the silence. 

"Thank you," my words are thick. "You saved me." 

She rolls her eyes at me, "You saved me first, we're even." She's right, I suppose. She was losing the fight before I came by an helped them. I wasn't thinking about needing to be their savior, I only acted and it was the right thing to do anyway. And even though Sadie isn't my favorite person in the world - I don't think either of us particularly like each other to be honest - I don't regret helping her. 

My issue with Javier isn't my issue with her. Javier made his choices, and they were his alone. Regardless of Sadie's involvement. I wish that I wasn't hurt, but I don't wish that it didn't happen. Now I know exactly who Javier is. 

I look at Audrey's unconscious form. "She's fine, just unconscious, Sadie tells me.
