57 A race

It only takes a few breaths for Ryker to be fully shifted in front of me. On all fours stands a massive brown wolf with striking gold eyes that contrast against the dark fur lining his eyes like a mask. The rest of the wolf is a slightly lighter shade of dark brown, reminding me of his wavy locks.

With a smirk on my face, I take off running down the forest trail. It only takes a moment before the wolf is on my heels, nipping playfully before running by my side. A glance to the side shows me that his tongue is out as he hits the ground in powerful strides, clearly relishing the feeling of being let loose.

A pang of jealousy comes and disappears as quickly when I let go of my wish for my wolf to run with him, and instead, accept the present situation as it is. He is enjoying himself, and I am having a good time as well. The rest doesn't matter at this moment.
