271 Quick sand

Our horse galloped further long into the jungle. I explained to Fang all that I had seen in my vision, even though he already knew. Fang was patient and heard me rant about all the theories I had, "... Hailey doesn't remember anything so I was expecting to ask you and Channing."

"Channing remembers nothing either," Fang replied, as his eyes did not, for a moment, budge from the path.

There was no clear path where we were riding. Fang had drifted our horse off the path a long time ago. Right now, all I could hear was a calm silence in the forest and I highly doubted there was going to be any prey we would find here. Being honest, I did not want to hunt right now. I sighed on knowing that Channing remembers nothing. That only leaves with Fang and for what I believed he should be the one to know, for he had the gift of memory.

"Then I am sure you do," I mentioned. Fang hummed at that, "what? Answer me if you know. Don't just react."
