1 Introduction

Hello! My name is Rozella Jae Peterson. I am 16 year old. Pretty young if you ask me, but to my family that is the right age for you to find your mate and live with them. Oh! Did I mention mate? Yes I did! I am a werewolf, and not just me but all my family are. We live in a pack. In each pack there is a leader, known as Alpha. Then there is a Beta second in command. Then there Delta third in command and so on.

My father is the Alpha for our pack and my mother is the Luna. Luna is an offered rank to any Alpha female. My brother Lucien Jordan Peterson is the following Alpha. He is 2 year older than me. Being the first born is accompanied with duty, and one of them being the heir to take over your dad position.

Our pack being the Crescent Moon Pack is the 3rd biggest pack in the world. However, in the werewolves community we seemed weak, but we are not. My dad taught us to stay lowkey, and which we did. Our pack is a mystery to many other packs. Our pack members are loyal,strong, and brave.

Anyway, going back to mate, let me explain it all to you. Mate is your other half and soulmate. It's the person you are meant to spend your life with. Every year there is a mating ritual and all the pack meet in Hawaii for it. There you are supposed to find your mate, more like see who picks you to be their mate. The male wolves pick 1 girl they like to be their mate. If you are not picked then you have to come to the mating ritual again until you get picked by someone.

If you are 16 and older you are supposed to go to the mating ritual. If you are younger than 16 then you don't need to go yet. You don't actually have a choice so you have to go or there will be serious consequences.

I am 16 this year so I will have to go. Trust me I hate how this mating ritual works. Why does a guy get to choose who they like? Can't it be equal? I mean falling in love, dating, proposal, marriage, and having kids. Like how huaman do it. I sometimes wish I was a human. Then things won't be complicated.

My brother Lucien went there when he was 16 and he hasn't found any girl he liked, so he doesn't have a mate yet. He has to go again this year too, but this time with me. Beside my brother, my best friend Nora Hudson is going with me. We both are 16 this year. However, unlike me she has a boyfriend from the same pack, so he will choose her. I don't really like him, but since she is my best friend. I will give them my blessing. Now that is so far all the things you need to know.
