Conflict

The week flew by in a haste. Deandra once more drowned in the sea of problems; seeking for a mouth-watering story she was going to present to her boss, contemplating about the upcoming anniversary, going to meet Mr Rossi-who still hasn't mentioned to her about his presence at her company's upcoming gala, and on top of it all, she hasn't heard from Andre since the other day he dropped her off at her office, four days ago.

Today she woke up grumpy, lay on the bed even as sunlight mocked her, informing her of yet another day of going to the Rossi's mansion. Yet, she couldn't bring herself to do it.

"Deandra!" She jerked up, her hand going to her chest as she cursed under her breathe, trying to regain back her breath.

Chloe. For Christ sake.

Dee threw her legs off the bed and sort for her slippers when her door flung open and Chloe walked in, dressed in nine, her makeup-clad face beaming with a charming smile.
