Alpha Hannah

*Book-One of the Alpha female series. I peer out the window and watch as the rain pours down and listening as it bashes against the window and collides with the ground. I'd always preferred Autumn it is just so mesmerising to me how beautiful everything looks as it dies and how warm the snow looks as it covers everything in a thick blanket. I just wish I could reach out and touch it or dance in the rain, but that's just not an option for me. It never was. Hannah Rosalie Summer, a girl that’s smart, compassionate and a little bit crazy. But there’s more to her story, she’s hasn’t experienced the real world since she was seven. Sure she’s learned about it, but the internet can only teach you so much. The closest she can get to free is when she climbs up to the roof to watch the stars when her mother’s asleep. Come on the rollercoaster of emotions as Hannah explores the world and stumbles across something she thought was only in fairy tales her mother and father read to her when she was but a child. I hope to see you there...

Chapter Three

I groggily rub my eyes as I start coming to my senses, where the hell am I. It feels like I'm lying on a cloud, my eyes start to close as I'm about to let sleep over take me again. My eyes snap open, the wolves, the mystery man, the wolf bit me. Jerk. I quickly sit up and take in the room around me, how the hell did I get here I should be dead.

The room was massive, there was a king size bed against the wall in the middle with red bed covers. There was a large Red fluffy mat covering most of the floor, and the rest of the floor was a dark wood. The walls were white with a large mirror behind the bed. And the back wall was a massive window that over looked the woods that surrounded the house, with a red chair beside it.

Throwing the covers off of me I look down at my leg, there's a white bandage covering where my injurie is. weirdly enough though, it doesn't hurt. Against my better judgement I peel back the bandage, expecting to see at least a scar. I'm surprised to be met with my normal leg, not even a scrape there yet the bandage has blood on it. Weird, really really strange.

I Take the bandage off completely and fold it up sitting it on the bed, getting up I hear footsteps approaching the room in. Shit, what do I do, Looking around the room I look for anything to protect myself with. But only to freeze again as I hear the door handle giggle and open revealing a girl around my age, she had brown hair reaching her shoulders and grey eyes with a hint of blue. She stops when she see's me and her eyes widen, "You're awake" she said stating the obvious.

"Who are you, and where am I" I asked standing straighter. I can't come off as weak or I'll never get answers, I have to come off at strong wiled.

"My name is Anna" she said walking into the room and walking towards me, shutting the door behind her. "How did your leg heal so fast" she said eyeing my leg. What does she mean how did it heal so fast, how long have I been out.

"What do you mean" I asked, I'm completely confused.

"You haven't shifted yet, you were only bitten last night" she said more to herself that me. I don't think she meant for me to hear, but I did.

"What do you mean shifted" I asked. I eyed the girl in front of me warily, what is she talking about.

"We are werewolves" said said softly, as if I was going to implode any second. I started laughing uncontrollably, I hunched over holding my stomach a few tears escaping my eyes. I finally stopped laughing and looked at Anna who was standing there with a blank expression. "I'm serious" she said rolling her eyes.

"Yeah and I'm batman" I said rolling my eyes. "look thanks for saving me and all, but I have to go" I said eyeing my bag near a door. I quickly walked over to the door, grabbing my bag and slinging on my back on the way. I opened the door looking at Anna as I rushed out of it, only to slam into a wall causing me to lose my footing and fall on my butt.

I stood up rubbing my butt mumbling a colourful string of words. I swear, who keeps putting these walls every where, I'm going to have a fun conversation with them after I get out of here. I look up to come face to chest with a man, I look him over quickly. He's roughly six foot and has shaggy dark brow hair, and honey brown eyes. he has his arms crossed over his cheast and a firm look on his face. "Hey shaggy, you mind moving so I can get out" I asked pointing at him then behind him.

"Your not going anywhere, you belong here now" he said in a firm voice that basically screamed power. Is this guy for real, I'm not going to stay just because he told me to.

"Move" I said through gritted teeth. He looked take aback that I didn't do what he said, taking a step back. I took that as my opportunity and ran passed him only to be grabbed by my wrist and jerked over to him. There was sparks shooting up my arm, wait sparks. Shaggy hair seemed just as shocked as me.

"Mine" he roared, almost making me cower away, his eyes had darkened and were nearly pitch black.

"I'm not yours" I gritted out, I swiftly brought my knee up and watched as he dubbed over in pain. I took this as my chance and started sprinting down the hall like the place was on fire. I ran down hall after hall and two stair cases until finally I found an exit. This place is like a castle, if only I could get to a road with people then I would be safe. Hopefully. I started running down a gravel road, I hope this leads to a main road or something, or I'm screwed.

I finally made it to the bottom of the road, it was like the closer I got the further away it felt. Now what do I do. Shit. I didn't think this far ahead, I have no where to go, no money. I guess I could start walking down the pavement and I guess I'll figure the rest out later. What the hell what else am I gonna do, its not like I have many options. I walk down the pavement, cars zooming past making my hair go everywhere. Stupid hair always getting in the way.

I looked at the ground as I kicked the stone I'd been kicking for the last ten minutes. I heard the sound of an engine slowing down beside me and me being the noisy being I am, I turned around to see who it is. It was a silver jeep with an old man driving, with an old woman siting in the passenger seat.

"Are okay honey" the old woman said looking at me around the man, a bright innocent smile evident on her face. It's always the innocent ones you have to keep an eye out for, its incredible what demons an innocent smile and the flutter of the eyes can hide.

"Yeah I'm fine, thanks" I said smiling. The woman seemed the be pondering on something before she decided to say something.

"Do you need a ride" she asked. I don't know if I should trust them or not, I mean I could keep a close eye on them and get out at the first sight of anything remotely sketchy. I do seem to be in the middle of no where and I don't really wanna stay here tonight. Anything could happen, I'd be so much safer with other people around. "you okay dear".

"Wu uh yeah I'm okay, if you don't mind a lift would be great though. But please don't go out of your way to, I'm okay walking" I said smiling sweetly while taking a step close to the car.

"Its no problem at all" the woman said putting her hand in the air.

"Just hop on in there" the man said finally speaking up. I opened the back door and hoped in the back seat, the cool air nipping at me. The car started moving, but I made sure to keep an eye on the strangers in front of me.

"where are you heading to" the man asked glancing at me in the review mirror.

"Anywhere is fine" I said smiling.

"How come your here alone" the woman asked glancing back at me.

"Oh I was just out with some friends, but I couldn't call my mum to pick me up because I didn't notice my phone was dead until me had already split up" I said lying easily. what else could I say, it's not like I could say oh I ran away from home and nearly became a wolfs dinner and then woke up in this weird ass place, where they thought they were werewolf's. yeah right I'll pass.

"Oh that's rotten luck, do you want to barrow my phone to call someone" the woman asked reaching for her phone on the dashboard.

"I don't know anyone's number, thanks though" I said.

"Oh okay" the lady put her phone back on the dashboard. Roughly around 5 minutes later I felt a sharp pain go up my spine. The woman notices my discomfort and eyes me worriedly, "are you okay doll". Just then another sharp pain goes up my hip.

"Yeah I'm okay, can I get out now please" I said holding my hip.

"Are you sure" the man said stopping the car, we were about ten feet in front of a roundabout.

"Yeah I'm sure, thankyou" i said getting out of the car. after a couple seconds the car started moving and soon was out of my line of sight. Suddenly I felt the same pain that went up my spine and hip but intensified, and everywhere. I let out a airy short scream as I bent down. The once clear blue sky's are now a dark grey as it started dribbling down but shortly after it was lashing down and the wind was howling around me. What did they do to me, what the hell have I gotten myself into. I start walking slowly down the way I was headed, only for it to get worse. Its like the further I get from whatever the hell that place was the worse it gets. So maybe I know this sounds crazy, but what if I go back. Still kind of hunched over I turn around in the intention of going back to the crackheads that think they are werewolf's, oh what has my life become.

I've been so caught up in my own thoughts that I didn't even realise when I reached the bottom of the drive way I was running down only a half an hour ago, with the intentions to never come back.

I start walking up the lane that I had only thirty minutes ago ran down like my ass was on fire. The lane is way shorter than I remember, it felt like it went on forever when I ran down it but sadly I get to the large mansion before I know it. Damn it. I take a moment to look at the large building in front of me, I hadn't gotten to get a good look at it yet.

It was a 4 floor mansion with white walls with red rose vines going up its walls like spider webs, there was a beautiful fountain in front of it that was white also and there was hedges under the first floor windows that were perfectly trimmed, and a massive tree at either side of the house that must have been hundreds of years old.

I knock on the large brown door and shift from foot to foot anxiously waiting for someone to open it. A few moments later the door opens and if my memory serves me right it was Anna. She seems taken aback when she notices its me but recovers quickly and soon there's a bright smile on her face. "What did you do to me" I all but shout in her face.

Sorry but after this point it wont make much sence becouse I'm re-wrighting the book at the moment.
