48 The drunk Aurora

Aurora was just about to take a sip of her drink when she spotted Damien and Enoch just a couple of steps away from them.

"What? Hummwai..." Scarlet was still drinking her wine, mumbling incoherent words, and quickly downed the rest of her drink.

"Let's go," Aurora didn't wait for Scarlet to fully recover, pulling her away and leading them into the hall. Once Damien and Enoch were out of sight, she breathed a sigh of relief and took a sip of her wine.

"Wow, this is good. What is it?" Aurora enjoyed the taste of the wine and asked for more details. She had rarely consumed alcohol before, but this brand seemed exceptional compared to the non-alcoholic wines she had tried.

"Well, why don't you find out for yourself?" Scarlet led the way to the bar and took a seat. Aurora followed closely, sitting next to her.
