Aurora gasped, shocked to find him in her room and taking care of her at that. She thought he was disgusted by her, and never wanted to see her again. What was he doing here, taking care of her? 

"I…it is okay. Thanks," pulling away, she said, feeling uncomfortable under his care. She didn't deserve the nice treatment he was giving her, it only made her feel more guilty.

She wished for him to scold her, lash at her, lock her up, and hurt her like he always did. The sudden affection worried her because she was used to temporary love. Lucas had shown her how cruel the heart of man was, she didn't want to experience that again.

"My Luna has to look presentable," putting the tray aside, he said, meeting her stunned gaze. Was this man nuts? She just rejected their bond, what was he yapping on about her being Luna? She thought her message was clear enough, that she didn't want to be his mate or become his Luna.
