"I won't let you sentence Aurora to death." Ignoring Sarah, Charlotte turned to Elder Jude, challenging their decision. The outcome meant nothing to her, she wouldn't allow them to harm Aurora. What kind of Elders were they, conspiring with a woman yet to be their Luna? Was it respect or corruption?

"Miss Charlotte, our decision only matters after the audience decides. This is a public trial where the people decide, ensuring a fair judgment. If the audience says no, she gets to live." Elder Jude explained, and judging by his demeanor, they likely influenced some of the people present to vote in their favor.

Charlotte felt repulsed by their actions, unable to comprehend why they were going to such lengths.
