CHAPTER 55 Are You Threatening Me?
Kassandra's POV
Clayden, even though his wolf could not speak, only looks away and later on, shifted back to his human form. As soon as Clayden is completely naked beside me, I turn to my original position and look away.
Even though I could hear his steady movements and calm breathing on my side, I resisted watching him or looking into his eyes.
"You don't have to thank me," he murmured.
My head quickly tilts to his side at what he meant by his words only to see him sliding his pants to his torso.
I gently glance away while chewing the lump in my throat in silence.
Why on earth did you turn to look at him? I scold myself in my head.
Well, what was I saying?
"Well..."
"And yes, I am that cat inside your bedroom that day."
I make a second turn to face him. While I sit in my place, confused at the same time, Clayden is still busy fixing himself.
