CHAPTER 15 Threatened

Kassandra's POV

After feeling scared a few minutes ago, my brows are formed into a straight line now after hearing Clayden say that.

He is seriously looking at me, and I can't find myself speaking even though I am so against the idea.

"B-But my friends and I are going out tonight..."

I felt like hitting myself. Why am I relaxed? I ought to have yelled at him, pointed a finger at him, and questioned what he was saying. I could not let myself follow him! He should not see me oblige to what he is telling me.

But I've already said it.

Oh, dear.

His forehead was wrinkled, and small lines were visible on his lips. I then see how he looks back at the monitor on the wall when another man stands outside, who's panting while looking around.

"Max!" I called for my friend's name although he could not hear me.

Right. I just asked him for help! He also appeared to be running from the parking lot to the 15th floor, where I was staying, based on his heavy panting.
