Crystal's POV

Waking up without mom coming to wake me, I stepped out of the two pieces night wear which is on me. Putting it inside the laundry with the mindset of coming back in the evening to sort them out.

Dropping the curtain of my bathroom, I walk nakedly into the shower knowing, entering the bathtub, I might end up sleeping because I was up all night watching the forest due to my wolf whom I named Sonia.

Sonia's kick in at night after everyone has finished dinner and retired to their room, some ready to sleep while some already sleeping and some making their night memorable with their mate.

But as for me, Sonia makes me long for something I don't know. Perhaps, someone I don't know about. Sonia makes a part of me long for this to fill u the space in me, same as something that would give me happiness.

Of course, I am happy the way I am, but I don't know why Sonia do this to me every night.

She keeps me awake until it's about some hours to the daily works to begin and mom coming up here to look for me.

I am talking of four am (4:00am) while the daily work begin by six am (6:00am), I only get to sleep within two hours but unfortunately, my body wants more, and I can't help it.

I can't deny my body and my intestines what it wanted, especially when it comes to sleeping, knowing how tired I am. But Sonia wouldn't let me be, switching to her makes her have bigger control over me.

I will be weak and dizzy, but my mind and eyes is as sharp as that of an eagle due to Sonia at work. This alone wears me out regularly and once Sonia gives up, I don't count or blink twice before I slip to the dream Land.

Waking up every morning exhausted and stressed with maids always coming in to disturb my sleep, this alone do make me get angry at the daylight for coming up quick and early when am still enjoying my sleep.

Just as I thought mom wouldn't come for me but unfortunately, I could hear mom footsteps coming towards my room which means she is here to do the usual waking up stuff alongside some kisses, mom, and daughter blah.

Jumping out of the shower, I quickly head to my closet where I kept my already and well ironed uniform in. Dragging out where my undies is, I picked out the set of white because today is the first day back to school.

Wearing them, I take out my lotion then dab it on my body quick using my hair spray on my hair also then I comb it out before wearing my shirt.

Taking out my tie, I began to fix my short red tie, then I put in my beautiful short skirt which reached my mid-thigh.

Dragging out my long sock, I sprayed my body as well as pulling my hair up. Taking my shoes in my left hand, I pull out my bag pack when I remember that am in senior school already, and I need to take my badge along.

And it won't be a good thing to have myself as the topic of the school in my first day in senior school also, I thought.

Placing it where my chest pocket seat ten, I ran out into my bedroom.

Hurriedly, I make my bed and also make arrangements to something that was scattered last night in my bedroom before seating besides the fan.

Just to make myself presentable and also get rid of the sweat sticking on me before mom comes in and realize that I was just running around.

I should not be scolded for waking up late, it's too early for that. We were just beginning this section of a year in a class, I thought getting my shoe into my legs and the door fling open to reveal mom coming in with that look.

The look that says she would still be asleep even though I told her last night to wake u early, school begin today but the moment she set her eyes on me, she was surprised at what she met.

I am done dressing already, just struggling with my shoes rope which I eventually knot while she still stares at me with surprise written all over her face.

She hasn't even moved from the spot she was when she saw me, but she didn't realize that.

She even steps out, lock the door and unlock it then step in again thinking she was daydreaming.

But the moment she saw me up and right before her, she couldn't help but bust into laughter while her eyes were full of happiness.

''Wow crystal, did someone preach to you, or you are under someone spell?'' Mom asked turning me around just to check and be sure that I am fully ready and not tricking her again like I always do.

But this time, she has smiles on her face not the usual worried and disappointed look that was on her face yesterday as well as days, months, and years before today.

I am so happy, I made her smile at me for the very first time early in the morning before I set my eyes on anyone I could remember. Even my stomach are full of butterflies who are dancing showcasing their style.

''If you were preached to, please tell me so that I could gift the person as well as tell him or her to continue. But if you are under a spell, then take me to the person who knows I could learn and is it on you every day.'' Mom said making me laugh.

''Come on, mom, it's not trick or magic. It just me.'' I said while I turn around showing off my new dress.

''Anything you say, run along, your meal has ''. Mom informed me while I step out of my room… TBC
