30. Sweet Surrender

Soon after the Blessing Ceremony was done everyone toasted the Bride and Groom. Guests started leaving and heading back to their packs and after a while, only family members remained. Esme reminded Jerome about the cream she had given him in the morning and kissed him goodbye.

Ramona tearfully looked at her daughter and hugged her. She gave Jerome a big hug and welcomed him to the family. AJ kissed his little sister's forehead and hugged her before threatening to disembowel Jerome if he stepped out of line.

Pieter and Michaela hugged both Jerome and Gabriella. Pieter held onto Gabriella a little bit longer and told Jerome to take care of his Luna. Jerome scowled knowing that the Luna-Beta bond was kicking in.

Michaela grinned at Gabriella, "Of all the women my man has to guard you are the only one I can think of that I'm okay with him being so protective over. Let me know if our Alpha performs to standard. If not, I got you."
