Chapter ３９

I ignore her and concentrate on the distant joyous chuckles and murmurs. I chuckle along. A gathered group of youngsters, giggling and their eyes flashing with joy, awaits me in the rear corner. 

One of the toddlers on the carpet in front of a young lady who is beaming with glee from a stool with crossed legs. Except for a lady standing a few steps ahead of us, no one sees me or Neme.

She pauses, her heart pounding in her chest "Hello Luna."

Neme stands silently next me,. Who are they?

"Hello," I say, smiling at the ladies and youngsters.

"Hello, my name is Miss Patty."

 ". Hello, Luna."

The kids say hello. 

"I'm Ana, the business owner. Do you want to purchase?" Ana approaches us.

"I spotted your window display and hoped you sold lattenrs and other stuff for decorating full moon day." I respond.

"I have enough in stock," Ana smiles. She stands up, but quickly reverses her steps, . "But I can't left my kids alone."

The kids must have enjoyed her playing with them .
