Chapter ２８

David looks aside from his bag to focus on me. So I ask him something and he raises a complete black brow.

“Neme told me every shifted mate has a right to take on some tasks of night patrol, and she was crazy for one member of it, but she tole me that when she delivered the application, she was rejected, why?”

David merely stares at me and says nothing.

“Neme, like the rest of the pack, is a wolf. So shouldn't she be allowed to join in too? ”

David responds by gazing down my body, causing tingles everywhere his blue eyes stare.

"She hasn't mastered everything yet. Then Neme can start training. In my pack, we receive basic schooling and our kind's rules." David glances at me.

I snarl back. "Our wolves. Yours." He's wrong.

David shakes his head and moves towards me. He grips my cheeks and forces me to look up.

“I want you to help her on the patrol task, she has been expecting that.”
