Secretary Andy asked Sky, "Miss. Sky, why do you come here often? What is so special about this place?" Sky looked at him and asked unemotionally, "Are you asking as a secretary or as... as an old friend?" Andy hesitated for a movement and answered, "A... A friend." and he looked forward to listening to her. After a minute of silence, "A few years back I came here with a guy, I was so happy to be with him here, I miss those laughter and smiles. He thought to himself and looked at Sky. She climbed on the bed and moved towards another end of the room as she replied, "Didn't Dad say it in front of you about you and Ray?" It was a bombshell to his poor heart. He stared at her in disbelief. She was holding her heels and looked at him in horror. 'This dumb woman thought of me as gay from day one.' He was bewildered at his thought. "Sky! Let's sit and talk. Come here." Arlo called again, patiently. Nowhere in sight
Andy couldn't take it her cold behavior anymore, "What's wrong with me driving? just because you are CEO, you can't do this to me. Are you guys father and daughter playing with me? I thought we are still friends. I canceled my plan to go to the native and came. Here you are?"
He started laughing hysterically and quieten after few seconds, "Are trying to laugh at my lowest period, in a different way just like others?"
Sky knew she tried to be cold to him similar to others. Even it wasn't easy for her, even she was hurt. But she can't get close again. Can she?
She felt like laughing at herself but she controlled. She wanted to explain to avoid misunderstanding but she erased that idea.
She wouldn't explain if he was somebody else, so she chose to be the same. Probably with her temper she would have fired if he was somebody else.
Andy was staring at Sky, she was silent. He took some time to realize his mistake.
"Ms.Sky, I'm Sorry. I was too agitated. You were so lively to... to me as.. as a friend. I know now you are my superior. I shouldn't have spoken like that. I'm really sorry. I'll do my job properly."
Sky was silent and thought about how she was hurt when he ignored her.
He decided to marry a girl who chose by his family. He started to ignore Sky completely.
Hundreds of messages per day changed to tens of messages.
Talking, video chatting, playing changed to null.
Full day accompanying her changed to nowhere in sight.
She felt as if he was no more in her life. He left her for another girl who he just met.
She cried for straight three days. Her health got upset. She was hospitalized.
She knows the pain of ignorance. So she decided to take it slowly with him. She can't be ruthless like him.
Sky distracted from her thoughts when she heard the door opening. Andy was getting off seeing no response from Sky.
"Sit"
Andy sat down and looked behind.
"Since we are going to the same place, you can meet your parents as well. So you can drive me." She said and opened her laptop to do some office work.
"Thank you Ms.Sky" Andy started the engine and left to his native town.
Drive would take 4 hours to reach and for lunch, they would reach home.
After a few minutes of silence, Sky heard growling sound. She ignored and continued her work. Again she heard it, she frowned.
She noticed a restaurant roadside, "Let's go there and grab some breakfast for you."
Andy slowed down the car, "Ms.Sky, we will get late. I can manage until lunch."
Sky's mouth twitched and glared at him. He noticed through the mirror and can only park the car.
