When morning broke I had forgotten I was in the forest. I got attacked by mosquitoes while I was sleeping. My arm was swollen and it itches so bad. I walked around the old temple to see if there were any visible traps. There weren't any I could see or any I could sense. I walked up to the door and analysed it. There was no door knob or handle to pull. I tried pushing it but it didn't budge. As I started to walk away a bright light flashed and I was back in the darkness. This time there was a screen and it gave me knowledge of what I was. I was human but I had been modified over the centuries. They also explained that killing monsters does make us strong and that our bodies were highly adaptive. There were 12 total creations. All with unique abilities and skills. This wasn't the first time we had to fight but every time we finished our memories were wiped. She also explained that some memories are left. That is why I was so advanced in technology. Out of all of us i was the strongest because i've been in more battles so my level was higher. It was this AI that summoned me to the temple. It explained that inside the temple were special weapons that fit our abilities and skills. After there was a flash of light and I was back in the temple. Getting to the weapons wasn't easy tho. There were traps and illusions everywhere. As I walked down a narrow hallway there was a huge pitfall opened under my feet. I used the grooves in the bricks to stop my descent but I had no idea how I was gonna get back up. While I was trying to think of a plan the door started to close. I thought of the teleportation ability but I had no idea how I did it. It happened on its own with no thought. The door fully closed on me. I was trapped and no one knew where I was. I started to ease my way down only to find a pit of spikes. There was a small walkway in the middle which I used. As I walked down the pathway there was a small door I could use to get out. I honestly thought I was trapped forever. Then I got to a huge walkway that split into three different paths. I'm pretty sure it's a maze. I chose the right path and I walked along it for a long time then came back out where I started. Well i thought i did but the door i came in wasn't there. I then chose the left path which led me to a wall I had to climb and there was a door at the top. There were small wooden boards sticking out the wall which I used to boost myself up. When I opened the door and walked down the hallway I walked into the armory with an elevator up. I took all the weapons so as we found the other people I could give them the gear. Mine was an actual dagger and some fancy looking plate armor. I put the stuff on and it vanished but i could still feel it on my body. Then I got on the elevator and went outside. I examined the area and saw the statues I walked toward when I got here so I used them to go back south. When I got back to camp I was surprised it was still noon. Tho it felt like more. Cari ran towards me and "i was gone forever". I replied "I've only been gone two days". Cari then stated that it had been a full week. Time must be different inside the temple. I went home and went to sleep forgetting about the two people I saved.
