1 Chapter One: Rebirth And System

Ye WuXie opened her eyes ignoring the dull pain inside her head. She saw a white ceiling with a black dusty fan attached on it. She soon found out that she was laying on the floor. Clenching her teeth, she forced her self up. She looked around and saw an old but clean room. This was definitely not the base.

Where was she?

Was she captured by the other party?

The base she was staying in was suddenly attacked. She didn't have any time to react, she only remembered the sound of gunfire. Her body was frozen, she couldn't move. It should've been the binding ability. She didn't remember anything after that. When she opened her eyes she was in this unfamiliar place.

Suddenly along with a piercing pain, many memory fragments entered her mind. It was the life experience of an 18 year old high school girl. To be specify, they were the memories of the original soul of the body she was currently in.

Yes, it turned out that she had died in the attack and was transmigrated into a similar parallel worlds. This world was almost as her previous world. Even the names of the countries where same. The original owner of the body's name was same as her- Ye WuXie. But unlike her who grew up in a superhuman organisation cut off from the outside world, the original owner grew up in the society.

A month before Ye Nian overdosed and died leaving an old tiny house behind and no money. The funeral was done by her uncles. No one in her family was willing to take in Ye WuXie and she was living alone in this old house.

There original soul's live experience made Ye WuXie to sign.

Suddenly out of nowhere, a mechanised cold voice sounded inside Ye WuXie's head.

Ye WuXie's eyes widened. She stayed still for half a minute. If not for Qiao Ye, a little boy addicted to Chinese webnovels in her previous world telling her about the 'System' novels she would have thought that her brain was crashing.

Also, the system means that she was not completely fused with this body. She would be expelled out of this world soon.

It was midnight when she woke up. She was still lying on the floor. She successfully fused with the body. Ye WuXie felt more comfortable now. As if the body now completely belong to her.

Ye WuXie closed her eyes and a wave of feelings and emotions rushed into her. She felt all the pain and sadness of the original soul's past. It was for the first time she felt such a strong sense of emotions. In her previous life Ye WuXie lived a dull live inside the base. There was no happiness, no sadness.

Ye WuXie felt that the original soul was very pitiful. She suffered too much when she was living and now she died and even her body was occupied by her. Ye WuXie took a deep breath and thought that she would live this life to the fullest. She wouldn't let anyone bully her.

Ye WuXie suddenly thought about her rare ability in her previous life. She wondered if she had it in this life too.

She say on the bed and stretched out her right hand towards a mathematics book laying on the table in front of her. She focused on the book, her eyes narrowed. The book slowly lifted upward and floated in the air. Staying in midair for 10 seconds, the book dropped on the table with a sound.

Ye WuXie panted heavily and blood oozed out from her nose. Just lifting a book upwards consummed almost all of her energy. This was much lower than her previous life's level.
