Chapter 1 / The Beginning

Akiro was walking through the streets of Kaømä with her many wounds bleeding slightly and the remaining stump from her left arm was bleeding profusely, but still, she looked confident. Just like she didn't even sense the pain. But then, a man came to her, and gave her a piece of paper, and went away. The paper was inviting to be a soldier. She was not interested, but she put it away in case she changed her mind. She decided to go to a town called Ragibt, because she always wanted to see it. So she started her journey. Unfortunately, Ragibt was 65km away from here, but this didn't bothered her, she just started going. Because of her injuries, she couldn't go as fast as she should, so it took her two weeks to reach the town. At this time, her wounds were healed but her arm, but that didn't bleed so heavily, she was definitely feeling better. In the forest she could eat berries, and animals that she caught. But she didn't want to steal anything. Luckily, she brought all the money from her old house. As she was walking to the market, she knew that someone's following her. She was ready for them to attack anytime. It's true that she only have one arm left, but she used her right arm for casting spells anyway. When she reached the markets, she knew that they're about to attack her. She heard a gunshot, and she easily dodged it, then turned alround. She saw a shocked Effected, holding the gun. The girl was so shocked that she could dodge her bullet so easily. But then, the girl quickly changed her expression, and attacked again, now with her bare hands. She failed. Akiro sent her straight to the ground with one movement. The girl almost passed out, but quickly stood up, and ran away. Akiro was just looking at her as she left, with a calm expression, studying how the girl looked like. She had a long cat-like tail, and ears, with slit pupils. After that, she went to buy some bread. Then she started going back to the forest, to find herself a tree that she can sleep on. On her way back, she wanted to take a piece of bread from her pocket, but instead, she touched a hand, looking for the bread in her pocket. For her surprise, the hand was very cold. When she turned alround, she saw a girl with horns, and four arms, one in her pocket was crouching behind her. The girl was also shocked, she got caught. The girl quickly took her hand out of her pocket.

?- uh...

Akiro- Why did you steal from me?

?- Because i was hungry?

Akiro- Good point... What's your name?

?- My name's Isela... What about you?

Akiro- The name's Akiro.

Isela- Well then, it's nice to meet you, but... Could we please forget that i tried to steal from ya?

Akiro- Sure we can. But don't you want to come with me? I'm looking for a better life. Don't you want too?

Isela- Uh, let me ask my partner...

Isela went to a nearby tree, and called down a girl named Oorun. After they discussed it, Oorun walked to Akiro.

Oorun- Hello, my name's Oorun, and we would love to come with you.

The girl said with a bright smile.

Akiro- Sure thing.

Later that night, they shared the bread, and had a good time talking with eachother, sharing their stories.
