XXXX Supermarket

At last, the endless days of going through the motion of trying to survive are over.

Zhengping lost count on how many missions, how many trials and errors he had to endure for what seemed like an eternity.

He almost lost himself, lost whatever emotions he had left in him but the one thing that kept him going was that someday, he'll return to hold that person.

Before he could dwell on himself, the cold voice of the system that's been with him for who knows long pierced his eardrums.

"Congratulations Jing Zhengping for completing the Systems tasks. As a reward, you will be granted one wish of your choice."

The system didn't have a body, not that he was aware of but he didn't care, it was already enduring of him to not seek out and destroy this system that imprisoned him in these so called 'tasks'

Zhengping hoarsely responded, "Send me back."

The system didn't need any more words to understand what he meant. Although they were an intelligent being, they didn't have any emotions.

They were born only to control those lesser than themselves but they wasn't as cruel as depicted to be.

That was if it wasn't cruel to take people captive against they're will, stripping all humans rights for its own goals.

"Are you sure?"

Zhengping didn't bother to respond, his silence said everything.

The system accepted it, congratulating him once more.

"I know you hold grievances in your heart, but you'll come to understand everything one day."

Before Zhengping could question the other, he felt himself floating before giving a start.

An aching sensation traveled throughout his body, despite the pain that gnawed at him, his eyes shone with intense light.

Finally.. he's back.

Just as he was figuring out where he was, a haughty voice spoke above him.

"Zheng! Do you not know how to do event he simplest task right?" The voice belonged to a middle aged woman who wore a nasty look on his face, clearly unpleased with his work.

Zhengping covered his hand over her face, stopping her from her continuous yapping.

The woman was stunned at his behavior before trying to rid of his hand but seeing that his strength was incomparable towards a weak woman like her, she gave up, her words muffling against his palm.

Disgusted by her behavior, he lightly pushed away but that was of lightly was pushing her back against the wall as he strolled away. A determined look in his eyes, he had to find him.

But first was finding out where he was? Noticing that he was in a supermarket, he grabbed the first person he saw.

The stranger startled by his actions only to be in dazed as he looked at the offender.

The man looked to be in his early twenties, dawning a laid back but captivating demeanor that vibrated in his inner bones, making the staff uniform more remarkable on him.

The handsome young man had messy blonde hair, glasses that covered his but didn't lessen his appearance, only creating a want to know what's behind those frames.

The stranger snapped out of it, awkwardly glancing at the hands on his shoulder.

"Where am I?" His voice suited him, it wasn't deep but not immature.

"XXXX supermarket? You're an employee..." anyone could see with the plain red uniform and logo printed boldly.

Zhengping frowned, releasing his grip on the other, he made his away out of the market despite the howls of the woman he meant earlier, seemed like she was the manager.

He had to find out more, the last time he was here, he never worked at a supermarket, nevertheless one he never heard of.

Zhengping started worry, perhaps the system didn't send him back, maybe they were just playing with him.

The thought of that only invoked anger he already had in heart. A mysterious dark aura surrounded his feet, overlapping his shadow.
