117 Chapter 116 - The Eight of Escalation

Quick note: Things are going to get real wild from here on out as we enter the conquest arc. The level of battles and the scale of fights will be immense. There will be jumps in time because I'm not going to write a bunch of filler, but the battles and summons will be there. The conquest arc is the third to last arc, the second to last being the prime war arc, and the last being the final ascension arc.

Some of you might not like how things go, and to them, I say I'm sorry, but things were planned like this from the beginning and I don't have time to change it. I want to complete this fanfiction for you guys so please no hate. I've said this before, but I won't allow needles hate comments. If your just here to hate or complain that the story isn't going the way you thought then please just leave. If you don't like this fanfic then find another.

Also for the last two arcs instead of posting a bunch of shorter chapters, I'm thinking I might do lesser chapters but make them really long. I'm not sure though yet and I will update you when I come to a decision,

With that said, thanks for all the support and love :)

-----------------

Time passed as my summons waged an endless battle against the hive spire. By day they would battle endlessly, taking breaks when needed, and if any ever become injured, I summon Asia to heal them.

To my joy Delorn and his brother were right. The hive never stopped sending out monsters no matter how many we killed, although when night fell, the spire would go dormant and sometimes even retreat underground. I quickly learned that the spire was less of a structure and more of a living creature that had dug itself into this land and now released these abominations though the reason why it did still eluded me, but maybe I would find out when I finally destroyed it.

I didn't level as fast as I expected, but by the end of the first week I had gained over eight levels and my quest to stabilize Larra had finally been completed, which meant Lelouch and my advisors were doing a good job.

Every time I gained a new summon I immediately sent them into the battlefield and to my luck, most of the new summons would end up being summons who were very good at fighting and very powerful.

When I'd hit level twenty I'd gained a new title.

[Immortal: No longer are you bound to your mortality, nor the blight of death, decay, or disease. You are now truly immortal and even should your body be destroyed you will continue to exist and may take control over a willingly or crafted body.]

This was something I'd expected and it was good to know that even if my physical body died I'd still live, though I had no plans on letting that happen. I liked this body.

Whitebeard had been the first of the eight and he had quickly risen in level. With his three types of Haki and evil fruit, he could tear the land apart, although I asked him to go easy because I didn't want him to accidentally destroy the spire. There had been some tension between him and Kizaru but neither had acted as they knew I wouldn't be too happy about that.

The next had been Kiss-shot who I'd almost had to send back to Larra due to the fact she couldn't really fight in the sunlight and that the hive was inactive during the day, but then my next summon had cleared that right up along with quite a few other problems.

Merlin of the seven deadly sins was not only an expert magician, but also incredibly smart, dangerously so, and it had only taken her a few minutes to come up with a spell to shield Kiss-shot, and after that, she'd gone through the archives of the kingdom at an incredible rate. She wanted to understand how the magic systems in this world worked. Often times she would be reading while fighting, summon large tornadoes, and at one point even falling meteors that caused miniature black holes when they hit the ground. Her intelligence would be needed to what I had planned especially since my other summons had made me realize things were going to happen sooner rather than later.

Acnologia and Deathwing were two dragons of immense power. Both were walking cataclysmic entities that could wipe out entire kingdoms by themselves, and honestly, it was overkill for the monsters of the spire, but I kept going until I'd gotten a few more levels and boy was I glad that I had, as the last four of eight would be immensely helpful in the upcoming conquest especially the last

Madara in his prime with the rinnegan was the next. He alone was similar to Deathwing and Acnologia in that I could send him to a minor or mid-tier kingdom and he could most likely conquer it with ease.

Ryo Shimazaki wasn't much of a fighter compared to some of the others not to say he couldn't fight but his talents in teleportation were what I utilized. I had him running messages for me, and used attack force on him so that I could teleport. His powers allied him to teleport to any location on the planet that he knew of, but only on this world and not to other planes which was a shame, but I had to conquer this world first, which bring me to the last two of the eight.

The Simurgh, a character from a fan favorite web serial of mine. She was an angel-like figure who had been given the title of endbringer on her world and rightfully so. Her powers would be tremendously useful in taking this world. From her abilities with precognition and information gathering to her psychic scream which allowed her a dangerous level of control and manipulation. She of course could fly as well and use telekinetic powers, but those were merely secondary to her precognition.

Then finally came the last of the eight.

Contessa.

She too was from Worm which had been a surprise since I hadn't expected to get two people from the same series immediately after one another, but to say I had been happy would have been an understatement.

Contessa's power was aptly called, path to victory, which allowed her to see the adaptable steps she needs to take to succeed at nearly any given task and execute them perfectly. There were limitations and restrictions but even so it was an amazing power and what pushed me to have Megumin destroy the spire at the end of the first week. I waited till nightfall then had her use an explosion spell to blow it up, and with her huge jump in levels, she did it with ease. It was very odd to see the reactions of my other summons since you wouldn't expect someone who looked like Megumin to have the power to quite literally destroy continents. I was almost certain that if she kept evening she could point her staff up at the night sky and destroy the moons of this world.

With her, I knew what I needed to do, clearer than ever before, and to be honest it felt like heaven, but then again I had a damn system that allowed me to summon characters from fiction and if that wasn't a cheat then I didn't know what was.

This time of beginning and getting a grip on this world was over, and now it was the time for escalation and conquest. More levels, and more tokens. I would reach the pinnacle no matter the cost.
