Chapter 1: The boy in the tree

Back in ancient times there were children that were told t climb trees to test who was the strongest. the strong was praised and beloved they were considered as the next chief and ciefden of their little villige. However those who were to weak to climb the tree were killed this was an insane practice that today is seen as a game of sorts. My name is spelt as nux but pronounced as noks. I was always alone I have never had any friends and never had a crush on anyone. Im a 3rd year highschool student I was held back a grade because I was caught fighting on school grounds repeatedly. I never knew my parents because they were brutally murdered when I was a kid. I have been searching for the murderer for as long as I can rember and I have had to fight of creatures like vampires, demons, and sereal killers. nobody know about what I do or the things I fight ofcourse if they did it would cause a world wide panic so I have been keeping to myself. up until a month ago that is.
