Stage II, Chapter XII: The Karman Krew Is Back!

".... And that concludes the report about the unidentified "pods" that have crashed onto Gaia's surface. Jimmy, what do you think of this?"

"Timmy, it certainly is a peculiar situation. I've also received reports about the pods. They seem to have already been opened. I myself, along with many other people believe that the pods contained something not from this world, and If I was the Gaia Continental Council, I would focus on finding out what was inside these "pods" and immediately act accordingly."

"Thanks for you input Jimmy. Now, onto another news report. Sightings of unidentified portals have been reported in various areas around the world. That's right, people. Not just in Gaia. In Hudra, too. And along with these portals, mysterious creatures have also been found to have come out from these. The Guild Association and the F.N.P.F have been hard at work searching for traces of these portals. It is unknown what the purpose of these portals are, but it has been confirmed that when all of the unknown monsters that came out from it are defeated, the portal closes."

"And so far, there have been no documented cases of the portals suddenly reappearing in the same spot, so rest easy if one comes your way, folks. Once it's taken care of, it's done and dusted. The Guild Association and the Gaia Continental Council encourage people to hunt down anything that comes through. Those who do will be rewarded handsomely by their respected country's government."

"And that's all for today folks. I'm your host, Timmy Falwins, and this is Gaia 24 News."

I shut of the holographic screen. Seems like it's already started, huh? I've been focusing on training for the past few weeks, so I haven't been doing my best in keeping track of time.

"Catalyn, pick me up please." I ask the maid beside me. She comes over and takes my now slightly bigger body into her arms.

"Where shall we go, young master?" She asks me.

"Good question. Towards our other siblings' rooms then. Today, The Karman Krew will return for some special Karman extermination." I reply to her.

Hearing me, she packs up all her things into her personal portal storage, and we head over outside.

We first reach Lena's door. The door, now designed with pictures of me, seemed to indicate that Lena now had Catalyn's problem. She was now as obsessive as my maid was when we first found her.

Not the force-kiss type though, but the eager to spend more time with me and probably replace Catalyn as my personal caretaker type. Plus I went inside her room once, and even more pictures of me were hung all over the walls.

I don't really care who does the job, but it's honestly awkward to have two Catalyn-s in the house.

"Lena, big sis, you there? We're going out soon." I raise my voice a little.

Oh yeah. I was considered old enough to be able to speak in full sentences, so I decided to take advantage of that now, too. Now I didn't have to force myself to speak broken English.

"Little bro? Yes! Your big sister is hereeee!" The door bursts open and the figure of Lena enters my sight. Her blonde hair, still as beautiful as ever, and her perfect figure, looking even more refined, enters my vision.

"Oh. It's you. Well, I guess you'd be here." Lena stares at Catalyn in a "he's mine!" face.

"Why wouldn't I be here? I am young master's personal caretaker." Catalyn replies with a smile.

"Heh, not for long. Anyway, what's the plan for today, little brother?" Lena looks at me.

"Uh, yeah. We're heading out to take down our share of Karman. We need the royal family to take notice of us." I reply. This was our original plan, and it was finally being put into motion.

"Great! I'll get myself ready. I'll do my best to help my little brother out whenever!" Lena shuts the door in front of us. Well, at least she's dedicated.

"Alright.... should we head over to Lucas next, then?" I ask Catalyn, who was still sporting a bright smile.

"Sure thing, young master." She begins to head to Lucas' room.

"Big brother, open up. It's time for action day!" I shout. From the outside, we could the constant sound of something being beaten.

"Oh, sweet! Is it finally today? My fists are itching for Karman blood!" The door opens and the figure of Lucas is seen, his body sweaty. Huh. So he was training. I look behind him and see a punching bag his size.

"Yup. Get prepared, we'll be heading out soon. Maybe take a shower, or something. You smell." I say.

"Hehe, of course I do. That just means my training is paying off!" He closes the door.

"Okay, last one. Aurelia next!"

"As you wish." Catalyn replies.

"Aurelia, you there?" I knock at the door. There is an assortment of potted plants placed directly outside.

"My lord. Aurelia is here. Please give me a moment." The voice of Aurelia comes out from the room, signaling that she did hear us.

We waited for a bit, until the door finally opened, revealing Aurelia.

"Hello, my lord. What will we be doing today?" She asks me.

"Today is Karman Extermination Day, that's what it is. Better prepare for battle, we'll be heading out soon."

"Roger. Aurelia will come back in a few minutes, I need to prepare. Now, if you'll excuse me."

"Great. Now, let's head over to the living room downstairs to wait."

"Very good, young master."

**********

At the Phase Gate.

"You guys got everything? Dimensional Storages, Mana Potions, Equipment? Make sure you're loaded. We'll need it all." I scan my siblings.

They all reply with a positive answer.

"Alright then. Today, The Karman Krew is back in buisness. Our mission today is to hunt a lot of Karman and destroy their portals. We've already said goodbye to our parents, right?" I look to Lena.

"Yup, little bro. They've given us permission to go crazy." She replies.

Our parents had already found out about the existence of me being able to use Mental Magic. At first, they were very surprised, seeing as how I am still a toddler. Unable to hide it, they acknowledged my strength and allowed me to assist my siblings if I didn't directly enter battle. Luckily we got that covered.

"Alright, ready? Let's get to it then. I choose the Macaus Plains." I say to the A.I.

"Now... how many Karman will we hunt today, I wonder...." Unbeknownst to Kenneth, a significantly brighter gleam of green light flashed in his eyes for half a minute straight. No one noticed it.
