Fight!!!

"The likes of you wants to kill me?"

Josh asked with a chuckle as he stood out of the crater he had made with his decent.

He stepped over the unconscious and squirming bodies of the mages who had tried to attack him.

"Hump, this place will soon be your grave, shadow." the middle-aged man who Carmin called Joseph said arrogantly.

"Fine, then all of you must die!!!" Josh said as the light in his eyes changed revealing nothing but coldness.

Whoosh!!!

Whoosh!!! Whoosh!!! Whoosh!!!

They all rushed at each other branding various weapons and surging with energy.

"You cocky bastard, die!!!"

"Die for me, shadow!"

"I'll pieces you!!!"

"DIE"

The elite guards all charged at Josh in a frenzied manner like leeches that sought his blood.

"Hump" Josh only snorted and said in his mind.

'I guess I'll have to borrow your power for a bit'

A mysterious power emerged from him and his energy started increasing steadily.

Tap!!!

As he stepped on the floor again it directly shattered.

"Activating blue arts, first mode, I AM BLUE!!!"

As he finished his shout blue energy surge around him, as blue runes and lines formed around his body covering him from head to toe and even his daggers mask and clothes were covered in blue runes.

Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!!

He clashed with the Warriors and assassins, while blocking any arrow that came from the archers. Various colourful light Shone as the tamers summoned various beast and they besieged him from every direction.

"Fire ball"

"Metal spikes"

"Frost bullets"

"Earth punch"

Boom! Boom! Boom! BOOM!!!

The mages were done with casting their spells as they lunched them at him sealing of any path of retreat.

"Shadow forest, black mode!!!"

Tap!!!

Black substance instantly spread out from his legs and he casually sank into it and came out from another point of the shadow forest instantly dodging all the attacks.

"Shit, what class his he exactly?"

Someone exclaimed.

"Be alert, he isn't called shadow for nothing" Joseph warned but then instantly felt the threat of daggers coming out of a black tree he didn't know when it had appeared behind him.

"Crystal reinforcement!!!" Joseph shouted as he summoned a sword and clashes with Josh.

BOOM!!!

Their clash instantly sundered the left part of the room. As dust rose but soon it was dissipated by more clashes.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Joseph body Shone with light as it glowed like a crystal as none of Josh's precise cuts could do any damage to his crystal body.

Only loud sounds were heard and Josh cuts left shallow white marks on him.

No body could intervene in their fight because they were all to busy either defending against black vines from the shadow forest, or they were fighting black clones of Josh.

Boom!

After this clash Josh once again slipped into the shadow around him.as black mist filled the surroundings obscuring the senses of Joseph.

'He is too strong as expected of a peak level 35 elite stage warrior, if not for the power I'm currently using I would have died hundred times over'

'I also have to end this fight quickly I'm getting to my limit in using this power'

As various thoughts entered his head, he suddenly remembered something, and summoned that familiar strange cube of of his spatial cube.

'I wonder what this does? ' he said.

"Appraise"

A mental message was instantly transmitted to his mind.

[NAME] Energy draining cube.

[SOURCE] Man made.

[LEVEL] No current level.

[FUNCTION] Drains people of their energy, vitality, memory, and any other essence.

it was made with dark powers.....

"mmm, sounds like something Carmin would make"

As he said this he activated it and threw it at Joseph who was quick to react as he grabbed it and said.

"Is that all you've got shadow?"

But soon he realised his mistake and tried to throw it away but Josh didn't let him as he instantly activated the draining function to the highest and in 3 seconds a peak level 35 elite stage warrior was drained of his life instantly.

This send shivers down his spine as he looked at the energy draining cube in a new light.

"Shit, this device is so scary!!!"

"Anyway, I was lucky that he got careless for a bit, otherwise I don't see any hope of this fight ending in my favour."

"Now let me deal with this guys" Josh said as he looked at the elite guards. now closing in on him after he had undid the shadow forest.

He bolted towards them and this time he didn't show them any mercy.

"Unparalleled Phantom art, second Phantom, Hunter!!!"

He instantly reached the speed of sound as sonic booms echoed. He waved his daggers and diced up a lot of bodies.

Splurt!!!

Shouts of agony rang out as limbs flew here and there. Blood also blossomed like flowers in spring.

The most painful thing for his enemy was that, He was moving like a ghost and they felt he was untouchable. His speed was unrivaled as he hacked at the weak spots of his enemies.His blades glowed with an eerie light as he sent long range attacks at the mages and archers.

Occasionally, He threw small blades with perfect accuracy any archer could only which to wish to achieve.

He controlled the battle field like the support class, and all injuries healed at top speed before another one could be formed making his vitally scary. His body moved with profoundness like monsters as he took the lives around him.

The most scary part was that he did so without any emotion.

Soon the floor was littered with blood and bodies of his enemy and their monsters.

He was also covered in blood not sure if it was his or theirs anymore.

What was only left was him and a man he had purposely spared. This guy was second only to Joseph in authority.

"p..please spare me!" He pleaded as he gazed upon the youth who looked like the harbinger of death.

"Ho, don't worry I plan to spare you, after all who will deliver my message to Carmin." He said as he slowly walked towards the man.

'HeHeHe, that right let me go and I'll make sure you die here' the man thought sinisterly.

"But first..." Josh said as he raised his dagger and hacked it at the man.

The man was scared at first but then realised that he didn't feel any pain.

"w..what did you do?" he asked as he felt his body.

"Nothing much, I just severed your energy veins."

Josh said with a casual shrug of his shoulder.

"you!!!" The realisation hit the man like a wrecking ball as he coughed up a mouth full of blood.

"Also hold still I'm not quite done" Josh said as he made a few more slashes and said

"There we go."

Josh had cut off his nerves and spinal cord too so he looked no better than a vegetable.

He pressed his hand into his temple and a message was stored only the man couldn't read it as it was energy plus only Carmin could decipher the meaning in this message.

"Alright my job here is done" Josh said as he stored the daggers and a thought crossed his mind as he walked away.

"I hope they are ok"

Seconds later, some group of guards came and they saw a man walk away casually. emanating coldness with blood all over his body.

"Should we...?" someone asked but another intervened and said...

"No we can't win in a fight with him... look"

the person pointed at the sundered part of the room filled with bodies.

And a sudden realisation dawned upon them

'Do not provoke shadow!!!'

This was the thought established in their heads and hearts now!
