All Bow Before The Magical Villain

ON HIATUS If transmigration fails, try rebirth. In a magical world where power spoke before all else he would be the most powerful of them all and with their bones he would build his throne. Dex Atticus had transmigrated from earth to a magical continent. He lived right, saved millions and became the justified magic emperor. He had been the hero, or that was how he saw himself after all, it was what transmigrators did in the books. But he was betrayed by those he saved and killed by those who wanted his power. And just when he thought that death had come calling, he returned to start over again. And this time, he had a hunting system as a cheat. All magical inheritances would be his, all the glory would be his, all the wealth in the world he would claim and the most outstanding women, he would take. All his enemies would fall on his sword and every creature on the continent would bow before him, the new reigning supreme villain emperor. He would not be the hero they rejected, he would be the villain they loved. When they asked why he was cruel to the good guys, Dex would simply say, "I am allergic to heroes." No good diviner.

The fire mage was rolling around, holding his leg and wailing loudly as intense pain coursed through his body.

Dex smiled like the villain he intended to be and said disdainfully, "That's the thing about you ordinary mages, you think your fire, water, air, earth or whatever elements you have an affinity with make you infallible. I am sorry to be the one to tell you this but you are weak, elemental mages are crap compared to combat mages. All I have to do is teleport and break your limbs bit by bit. Oh, and your necks, if you can't talk, you can't chant and if you can't chant, there is no spell, hence no defense. I on the other hand do not need to chant before I teleport, isn't it great?"

The mages that surrounded the carriage stared at each other, unsure of how to proceed. If they could not pin point where he was, he could get to any of them.

"I have to say, if this is how your Tingxun sect treats the life savior of it's holy lady, then I wonder how it treats one who intends to kill her. Perhaps we should put that to that test. If I teleport into her carriage and steal her away or slice her throat, what would you do?"

He disappeared and they panicked, quickly reshuffling themselves and practically attaching themselves to the carriage.

"Just keep firing your weapons and everything at the air. We cannot let him get to the holy lady." their leader, shouted.

Dex who was now back to the top of the carriage chuckled, directly in the ear of the mage who was standing guard at the top and he kicked him down.

He went down screaming, as his body was hit with icicles, trapped by vines and sliced with wind blades.

"Stop, stop, it's not him." Their leader shouted. "The top of the carriage, aim there."

Seriously, do they learn nothing, Dex thought and he laughed. He was actually having fun, and if they kept it up, he did not mind ensuring that they harmed each other. It was not his fault that they attacked him even though he saved their holy lady.

Standing at the front of the carriage, he watched them waste their energy fighting the air. He prepared himself to go after another one, perhaps when they were all weak or dead, he could collect their magical weapons and other things. They could fetch him a good sum at the right shady market where they asked no questions about the source of one's goods.

The carriage door swung open and he stopped his feet, and saw the beautiful holy lady of Tingxun sect step out.

She was wearing a red dress that matched the color of the carriage. It was decorated with black flowers and it flowed down on the ground, dancing slightly at the slight breeze of the wind.

Dex had forgotten that the Tingxun holy lady was one of the three beauties of Cillia. With her white skin, small button nose and pouty pink lips, she was a beauty indeed.

This beauty could rive men mad, but he was not one of those foolish men that gave it all up for beauty. He had seen many other beauties in the world, and he had rejected them all for one woman, the same woman who opened the palace doors to his enemies and threw them a banquet before they killed him.

To lose oneself in the beauty of a woman was to give up your life and he would not be making that mistake again.

"Enough." she said sternly. "What are you doing elder Junxia?" She addressed the leader of the mages that were protecting her.

"Protecting you my lady." he answered.

"From what?" she asked.

The elder looked around but saw no sign of Dex. "There is a red haired space mage that.."

"That saved my life." The holy lady cut him off and said what she knew to be true. "All of you have wronged this savior, and you have wasted my time. If the space mage wanted to kill me, I would already be dead."

She looked up and around, then said, "Kind space mage, I would like to thank you for saving my life and also apologize for the way my people acted. I can assure you that Tingxun sect does not treat their friends this way. Please, if you are still here, show yourself."

Dex snorted when she said, 'friends.' When did he become a friend to Tingxun?

"I have to go and sell the snakes, I will accept your apology for three thousand gold coins."

"You damn thief." the elder screamed.

Dex made himself visible, he had been standing right next to the holy lady.

"I saved her from three snakes, hence three thousand gold coins. If you had all done your job well then I would not be here." He shrugged and held his hand out to her, completely unbothered by the hostile eyes of her protectors that wanted to rip him apart.

Catch me if you can, Dex thought.

He thought the holy lady would drop a bag of gold in his hand but she grabbed it instead and she smiled.

Dex raised his upper lip in a sinister smile and he said, "If you are about to offer yourself to me or ask me to take responsibility for you, I reject it. No offense but...."

He looked at her chest and giggled.

"You should grow some more first." he added. he whispered to her.

He looked at her protectors arrogantly and he smirked, daring them to do something.

The holy lady glared at him, and said, "You talk too much and your thoughts are corrupted. I simply meant to give you a free divination and then offer you an opportunity to join the Tingxun sect."

Dex frowned, looked at her with a calm storm in his eyes and said, "Ooh, you are one of those. I have never met a diviner that I liked. Your kind tend to be crooks, sooth sayers who promise men false glory and wealth. You hover around great men like demons, overly inflating your importance and influencing politics. You also spread lies and your tongues bring death to many. Divination magic is a breeding magic for vermin and in my opinion, the only good diviner is one without a tongue because then, you cannot talk."
