Chapter 01

In a country where poverty reigns. A woman gave birth to a child. The child grew and soon became a beautiful maiden. She has an outrageous beauty that every girl would envy. Her mother raised her properly despite the lack of money and love from a father.

The woman named her Aliza. Aliza loves adventure though her mother always forbid her to go further outside their village. Aliza would always complain and ask why but rather than answering, her mother was silent.

Aliza always follow her mother's rules and orders. She is such an obedient, heartful and adorable child however one night changed everything.

A group of unknown people attacked their village. They slaughtered any person who comes to their way. They stole every valuable things they could find, it was so tragic.

Aliza's mother hid her under the bed and covered her with blankets. Her mother is crying so is she. She was begging her mother to hide but her mother would shake her head saying 'no you must live'.

When the unknown people came through their house. They instantly searched for things and started throwing things that aren't valuable. She saw how her mother stopped them. She was crying and begging the strangers to stop. Aliza's beautiful face has been already covered with tears. Seeing her mother who raised her and loved her begging at the strangers made her heart bled in sadness.

The man grew annoyed at the woman and so he smacked her with a wood. Aliza's hand instantly went to her mouth to avoid any sounds of sobbing. She was crying helplessly under the bed, under the darkness.

Until they raised the covers. They found her and Aliza bursted in tears begging and kneeling for them to stop. The men looked at her. Aliza thought they would kill her but no, they dragged her.

She was held by both arms to avoid her from running away. Aliza grew weak and began limping. She can hear the screams from different persons from their village. She can see through her blurring vission the burning houses and fire scattered.

Aliza's body then became exhausted until she lost her concious.

Awakened by a loud voices of different people, Aliza gained her conciousness. She slowly opened her eyes, revealing a magnificent emerald eyes.

She looked around and noticed that she is lying on a bed covered in a blanket made of silk. Aliza slowly lifted her aching body and leaned her back on the bed's head board.

Her eyes scanned the prestigious room with walls embroided with golden plated flowers. Aliza was extremely amazed by the designs of the spacious room. She felt like she's in a castle.

Her eyes was averted to the door when she heard a knock from outside. Aliza don't know what to do.

Stuttering she answered "Uh, c-come in!"

Her eyes widened at the man who just entered through the door. He is dressed in a royal blue suit with shining buttons made of gold.

Aliza thought that the man is a member of a Royal Family because of the extravagant clothing and intimidating aura.

The man spoke with a low husky voice: "Get off that bed and follow me"

His voice sent shivers all through Aliza's spine. His voice screamed authority and domination. Aliza hurriedly moved from the bed and she set her foot on the cottoned carpet. It was soft and comfortable in her thin and bare foot.

She tried to stand properly but involuntarily went limping on the soft carpet. Her body felt so weak, she felt so drain. Aliza felt humilliated and tried to stand again however failed at the second time.

Her eyes looked down and she bit her lips.

Then a soft thumps are heard making it's way to her. In a second, her eyes widened in shock. A pair of arms was circled through her waist and at the back of her thin knees. The man lifted her up like a princess.

Aliza was rather shocked at the sudden act, she closed her eyes and circled her arms on the man's neck involuntarily. She slowly opened her eyes and a perfect face came to her view.

The unknown man is carrying her.
