It begins...

Monsters known to humans as parasetics. Is a mysterious worm that injected itself into a news reporter. The news reporter has a slim red dress and long blonde hair. Her eyes started to bleed, as she moaned "HEL-" her screams were cut short as a long tentacle came out from her throat and was hanging out of the news reporters mouth. Her body looked like she's having a stroke. Her eyes rolled back as two gigantic tentacles busted out and was now wiggling where the poor news reporter eyes was once. Now filled with disgusting tentacles. The only thing I can describe was the tentacles acted like fish out of water. Then out of the blue, her chest started to expand... And more... Her red dress and bra exploding off her body and was now nude. She clearly was resisting but to no valid. Was this a new weapon made by the governments? Or worse?! An alien from another world. Surely I must be overreacting. What happened next was actually not surprising cause I've seen it in alien films. News reporters body started to glow. As her stomach was ripped in two. Blood filled the news room. Caught me off guard as surprisingly she was still alive. I was flabbergasted. How?! I thought to myself. As I fixated my eyes at the TV. One of the tentacles started growing teeth and was devouring the helpless girl. It was so painful that every bite seemed to make her yell at the top of her lungs. Although was kind of muffled by the tentacle in her throat. This was straight out of a horror movie. The cameraman and entire news station was infected. Hearing bodies rip open one after another. That news reporter was still alive, was the monster keeping her alive? Or saving her for later. Second option seemed likely. The tentacles morphed itself into the news reporter, but had tentacles as hair. Red piercing eyes glared at the camera. She laughed and spoke "the dawn of a new era is fast approaching. Be afraid."

This monster then proceeds to walk, to the camera fully exiting the helpless girl and smacks the camera to the ground. The helpless girl let out a small cry and managed to speak "Wh- Wh- Why are you doing this?!" The morphed version decided to turn around and kiss the dying girl on the lips. Proper tongue action. Then finally killing her by growing a longer tongue while still kissing the news reporter. The morphed news reporter was laughing as she walked out of the news room... "Freeze?!" Gun shots can be heard. The camera finally shuts off.

2 Weeks earlier...

My name is Jason, I work at a lab somewhere in Britain. I'm currently wearing a lab coat. Brown spiky hair. I'd say I'm roughly 5 7. I'm more of an assistant though. My companion name is Jamie. He's a little taller than me 5 9. He also likes making objects go boom. His hair is black slightly moved to one side. Preferably the left side. We equip lab coats although we don't work on any major projects like cell fusion. It's just booms and fireworks with us. I gave a small chuckle. "Hey Jason" Jamie walked out of his office we require some necessities since we're going to be working overnight again. I sigh, working on new inventions can be fantastic although time consuming. Jamie and I invested so much into our personal lab. We have four wooden chairs, a table in one room and an isolated room with a window on the front, although you cannot see any windows on the inside. A small portable fridge. Our objective is developing new and devastating firepower reducing the consequences. Some can argue that the nuke is already the most powerful. We must reduce the amount of radiation filling our lands. We want to recreate a pistol that fires like a nuclear weapon that doesn't destroy everything, just the target. "Okay I'll be back soon." I waved goodbye to Jamie as I left the front of the lab. Okay what's on the list... Holding the piece of paper in my hand. Drinks, drinks and more drinks.. I suggest you write food on this next time. I'd just get some tuna sandwiches. Oh crap! I left my wallet in my apartment. I bolt to my house unlocking the door and acquired my wallet. Pheww, that was still a pain though. "Are you Jason? " two men in police uniform arrived at my house today. ""uhm, yes that's me" I nervously spoke. "We've been informed of you ordering too many elements at this address." one of the police officers said. "We are authorised to search your apartment. Just to make sure you're not developing any bombs. " upon hearing those words, my heart sank... He's going to locate my lewd anime figures! They step into my house fully armed. Leaving no rooms unchecked. They come back out, one smirking, at that moment. My life was temporarily over. "Well, well, well..." as I lay on the ground accepting my defeat. The two policeman laughed "Take care." as the police now slowly vanish from my sight. Thank god... I let out a small cry. Wait, Holy crap?! It's been over an hour already... Better start shopping. I proceed to the closest supermarket. "AHHH SOMEBODY... YEAH TAKE THAT YOU PIECE OF SHIT! SHE'S GOING TO BE MY WIFE NOT SOME NERDS." HUH? What's happening? I fixated my eyes on children picking on a small guy with glasses. I instantly bolted towards them. "Hey cut that out?!" I threw my fist almost punching a child in the process. They started retreating. Holy crap this would have been over for me, if I punched him. "Thanks" I lay out my hand helping him up. ""Just be careful, I know everyone has at least one wannabe Roadman in class. Everyone else will follow him or her, just to be on the good side. Well take care. " I help the kid pick up his belongings and headed in store. I stare at the prices of a tuna sandwich. I started to smile" YAHOOO" finally reduced prices on the tuna. 50p was extremely cheap. I jumped up in excitement. Now the drinks... Oh, still one pound for a tiny ass bottle. Might as well buy the bigger ones for 5p extra. Why?! Is this a thing. After buying 6 tuna sandwiches and 5 bottles. I finally arrive out of breath back at the lab. ""Sure took your time" while selecting the cola and twisting the cap off. ""Stuff went down, the police arrived at my house..." I basically informed Jamie on what occurred. "Good thing we don't use your apartment as a lab anymore huh" Jamie now drinking cola. I sat down "Anyway what's the plan for today?" I questioned Jamie. "Testing out if an Xbox can survive an explosion." We always get motivated by witnessing an object getting demolished. Then we proceed with actual work, such as the frame of our custom pistol and testing different elements. Basic ones and very dangerous ones. The pistol has a charge feature but it's a prototype. We tend to avoid using actual bullets or at least increase the damage caused by the bullet. It takes days to charge., if out of charge then it won't function since its powered by the charge. Might as well be scrap metal at this point. Its almost like we're missing an important element...

Pow! boom! crackle! I leap towards cover as the Xbox was blown to bits. Scattering it's soulless body in multiple directions. "Oh my god, did you see that?!" Jamie peeked his head to look at the remains. "Rest in piece Xbox components." I was panting, I almost injured myself, it was foolish of me to stand in the open. I let out a laugh" Man, it's fun though. " We spent the majority of the time working on our pistol. Zap?! A weird noise was heard coming out of the pistol and flung across the room. Jamie and I looked on, very confused." what happened... " I said to Jamie. While sipping coffee. "God dammit! We overloaded the pistol. I forgot to enter safe mode to prevent any electricity frying the pistols charge function. There's a chance that it wasn't decimated though. " Jamie seems a tiny bit upset. Even simple mistakes happen at times. I walk over, collecting the pistol. I'm now opening the pistol to check inside." Good news, it isn't fried. This just means we need to wait a few hours for it to cool down. " I told Jamie." welp, might as well take a break. We've been at it for hours now." Jamie responded. "Another failed master piece" a strange girl enters the room. Then proceeds to sit on one of the chairs. "Oh it's Luna." Luna has green hair with the classic ponytail. Luna just wears what she wants though mostly Jean's. "Are you actually here to assist or just be a tsundere wannabe?" Jamie's eyes sharpened as he spoke. I nodded my head in agreement. "Now, now, don't be like that.Jamie, I help keep this place alive." Luna responded. I sit opposite Luna. Devouring my coffee. She stared at me and blew a kiss. "Sure you aren't on drugs?" Luna smiled at my comment. Jamie went to boil the kettle and proceeded to make tea in the other room. I personally believe that I will never have a girlfriend or a boyfriend. It's not like I'm into stuff like that anyway. It's just a hassle. Can't focus on science if I have a family. So Luna just teases me all the time. "Oh did you know I'm heading to London in two weeks?" I expressed a puzzled reaction. "Why are you telling me this?" I said. "I just know you'll miss me. Me being here actually adds salt onto the steak." Luna spoke. "That's one way to describe it, I guess..." I was about to say more like salt on the wound. I decided against it. Didn't want to be that mean. "hope you have fun..." that's all I could come up with. "Come on loosen up a bit. You two should have a party once in a while. I mean, that's if you ever finish your product teehee." Luna cackled. Luna may be a part timer. She seemed very shy at first, now she's communicating and messing with us. Perhaps we shouldn't have selected her. Gosh what am I thinking... Jamie and I felt bad after watching her get rejected from every store. Yet again, perhaps it was destiny - - - pff- what am I even rambling about,. What is this, an isekai? Or even a typical good vs evil story? At least Luna helps her sister. I guess that's all what matters. "Are you okay?" Luna said. "just a little tired." Jamie enters with a cup of tea in his hand and sits next to me. "Hey, I got a question for you two!" Luna exploded out of her chair. "Do you love me?" "Luna, my dear, I'd rather marry a leaf than you" Jamie cackled. Luna turned her head in a typical tsundere way. Her eyes somehow turned puppy like, as she gazed in my direction. I stand up acting like a nerd with glasses. Not that I have any glasses on. "... ... ..." "What! What is it!" Luna yelled. I sat back down "it's blank, nothing basically. " Jamie and I laughed. "Wha- don't worry Luna we're both messing with you for once." I spoke. Some call it the uno reverse card.
