Chapter 1

The rain was pouring hard on the floor as it was accompanied by thunder rumbling in the sky, there was only one carriage seen in the middle of the night passing by under the rain, the window of the carriage flung open and a mysterious guy with a black cat resting on his shoulder looked outside.

His face was utterly expressionless, his eyes, the darkest shade of emerald green peeked through his long lashes as he stared outside bored. He had a piece of ring on his finger and a earring pierced on his right ear, he looked very dangerous yet gorgeous.

The carriage suddenly stopped and the guy had his forehead crease in distaste.

"What's stopping you from moving?" His loud, deep and menacing voice spoke jolting the whole carriage and every item in it, even the man riding the carriage was scared each time he heard his voice.

" Sir, We cannot move, something is on the ground or should I say someone" The man reported to his master as he shivered due to the coldness outside, his master wasn't even making it easier for him because each time he spoke, he had goosebumps.

Asher rolled his eyes as he stood up to take a look at what the man was talking about, one of his servants had the umbrella raised up in the air for him to use. Asher walked elegantly with his black coat swaying due to the wind. On getting there, he squatted on the ground to be able to see the person laying lifeless on the ground, he used a nearby stick to turn the human like it was some meat about to be roasted above the fire.

Turning the person, he realized it was a girl, a human. "What's she doing here in the open, does she want to get eaten by the night creatures?" He asked himself as he brought his hand towards her nose to confirm if she was dead or not.

'Alive" he muttered under his breath, well more blood for him to drink as his eyes flickered from green to red before going back to green.

Asher stood up and walked over to the carriage, before entering, "Bring the girl along" He spoke, "Don't bring her to my side put her at the backside" He ordered lifting his elegant legs to climb the stairs of the carriage.

"Yes sir" One of his servant, Amory replied as he moved forward to carry the girl unto his arms, he could see that beside her was a little sack, he didn't bother to carry it since his master didn't tell him to.

And then, the carriage started moving again.

The ride was a four hours journey as the carriage kept stopping along the road, even Asher had himself regretting why he came along with the carriage Instead of just teleporting back to the mansion. The carriage halted in front of a black high mansion that had statues of wolves at the sides of the entrance.

"Sir, we are here" The carriage man reported to Asher and the guy in the carriage wasted no time in coming down and walked towards the mansion, he halted in place and removed the ruby ring on his finger, the ring elongated into a key and he inserted it in the hole and opened the gate.

"Sir, should we bring the girl along with the stuffs at the backside?" Amory asked in a low whisper as he stood next to his master.

"Yes" Asher spoke as he walked away into the mansion.

The butler, Ian quickly came forward to help remove Asher's coat and served him hot tea, "Sir, your mother is in the room waiting for you, she came here when you left" The butler reported to Asher who nodded his head in response.

"Sir your meal has been prepared, should we bring it upstairs as usual?" The man, Ian asked him.

"Yes" He replied curtly as he collected the coat from him and walked towards the grand staircase, the interior of the mansion was a sharp contrast to the color outside, while the outside color was black, the inside was white.

As he was about the climb the fourth staircase, someone called his attention and he turned to see Amory with the girl placed on his shoulder, "Just drop her on the floor there, if she doesn't wake up by tomorrow you know the effective tool you can use" He mused as the corner of his lips raised.

"Yes sir" Replied Amory as he watched his master leave, he dropped the girl on the cold floor. He silently watched her sleeping face and could see that she was sleeping peacefully. The girl was dirty, she had mud splattered over her face, her clothes were torn and there was traces of blood on her arm as if she were injured by a sharp object.

"Poor you" Amory mumbled under his breath, his master never helped anyone for just any reason, it's either they become his maid, slave and if it was a girl, she was going to be assaulted sexually.

And the girl looked quite old enough to serve their master in bed, Amory was just wondering how this girl's life is, if it was better before she should just consider her life gone because it belongs to their evil master, Asher. This girl had made the mistake of falling into their master's trap and there was no turning back for her, if she's in, she's in already.

"Where did you find her?" Amory was brought back into reality by the butlers voice.

"Oh, when we were coming we found her lying on the ground" Amory explained with his head bowed for respect to the butler because the butler was in a higher position than he was.

"Is that so?" The butler asked as his eyes scanned the girl laying in the ground, "Is she still alive?" He asked again.

"Yes master confirmed it"

"Ok then, let's bring her to a safe room, it isn't good as she's laying on the cold ground like this, she might die of cold"

"Master's order: drop her on the ground, you know what will happen to you if you disobey him" Amory said to him and the butler cringed back in fear as he imagined the sight of Asher ripping his head off his body.

"Okay, okay, let's just leave her here, I'll pretend I didn't see her" The butler said to calm himself, he was actually a human and a kindhearted one.

"Have you eaten Amory, you just missed the food served at the boy's quarter, come to the kitchen I'm sure there's something left" The butler invited him as he started walking ahead.
