1 I. Prologue

They said that it all started when the people made a deal with the devil.

They were obsessed with the thought of eternal life, they were obsessing on how they wanted to be pure and clean of any sin. But, they have been alive for a long time, and the only way for them to be cleaned of any sin is if another human being accepted their sins as their own.

The devil smiled and gave them the answer, a way for the people to be rid of their sins if they want to.

"Your firstborn would take your sins away. The minute that they are born, all of your sins will go to him or her," the devil said, smiling at the thought of children as young as that having unbearable sins.

This means more souls for him to feed on, more souls for hell to have.

"Our firstborns?" A few of them were having a second thoughts; the child is their flesh and blood! They couldn't possibly do that to those innocent children!

But, there are some who quickly agreed with this. Reaching out their palm, lifting their daggers, they slashed through their palm and let the blood flow. Few of the people who had second thoughts left the scene, not wanting to be part of this montrosity.

A lot of these people are said to be nobles, and the trusted people of the royal court. Some even said that the royal family is there, sealing the deal with the devil as well! But, whatever happened there started the curse.

They called it 'Alice's Curse', for the child that daydreamed so innocently of a world that she wanted but was never true.

They said that the devil's laughter echoed throughout the world as he have achieved what he wanted to have. The souls of innocent children.

As of now, the Alice's curse could be seen at the tender age of 3. The minute that they turned 3 years old, their minds would mature instantly, and would realize themselves what they are.

If they die, their parents die. The reason for this is that as long as they live, which could be forever, their parents would never die, they would never age and they would never sin.

The 'Alice' (as they have been called), would stop aging at the age of thirteen. But, it is also at this age would their mind go crazy, as the taint of the sins, mortality and aging would be too much.

Alices are beautiful creatures, the most beautiful children that you would ever see, they are like porcelain dolls, but be wary! Should you come across one, you should run away. Alices who have been consumed by the taint of sins will only want to kill, kill, kill. They would gnaw on human flesh as if it was nothing.
