"Is there something wrong with introducing myself?"

"Yes! Geez! You're creeping me out." I didn't accept his hand and left.

"Wait for me!" He ran towards me.

'It's the Duke!'

'Duke!'

'He's handsome as always!' The citizens quickly recognized his beauty. A vast of crowd surrounded him, making it hard for him to escape.

"Excuse me!" He attempted to pass through, but he stopped when an aristocrat suddenly came out of nowhere.

"Everyone, stand back!" With the help of the aristocrat, everyone swarming him dispersed.

"Thank you," he said, and he started looking for me, but the aristocrat intercepted him.

"Then, would you like to have a meal with me?" The man was waiting for his answer, grinning from ear to ear. I started to move away from them, but someone grabbed my hand to pull me back. I cast a surprised glance at him.

"You're faster than I thought." When he let go of my hand, he realized the aristocrat was after him. His expression made it obvious that he found the noble's appearance bothersome. With a simple finger flick, the view was altered.

"So, what do you want from me?" While I waited for his response, I sat on the ground. I was not prepared for him to bow down before me. "W-what's wrong with you?"

"I'm not sure who you are exactly, but everything about you screams authority. I can feel it, but the others might not notice because you did a great job hiding it. You are much more than just a regular person aimlessly roaming the world. Would you please allow me to serve you?" He cast a somber glance at me. I underestimated myself, thinking I had hidden it very well and no one would ever find out.

"You don't even entirely know me." I tried to make him stand up, but he refused and continued to kneel.

I'm in a dire predicament at the moment yet I have no idea what to do! I tried to decline, but his face turned into a puppy over time. Okay, now! I sighed nervously, got up, and turned to face him.

"Fine, but under a condition! You should tell no one about me! Even your closest family, friends, or subordinates, and if you did, you will suffer for eternity!"

"I, the Duke of the North, will follow you to death." He stared at me, and he put his right hand on his left shoulder.

"I-I see."

What is going on? I didn't realize that my attempt to frighten him would backfire on me! He even swears allegiance to me! Sending him back to his mansion, I returned to the plaza in order to learn more about this nation.

I walked for an hour and received no information at all. I chose to have a nap in a dessert shop. I went upstairs, ordered an endless supply of snacks, and took a seat near the window in the back row. The patrons glanced at me and then went about their business.

'Kyaah!!!'

I looked down and saw laughing knights dragging an old man. The old man extended his hand to a weeping girl, but the knights kicked her instead. The people were powerless to intervene because the knights threatened to harm them if they attempted to assist them.

The situation was met with laughter from the passing nobles. As the old man began to be beaten by the knights, some nobility watched and gambled on his ability to live.

'Move!' Hm? Isn't he the one who offered the duke a meal? He was surrounded by numerous escorts.

'1,000 golds.' The other nobles were starting to get excited as he bet tons of money.

'Let my father go!' A fat nobleman was staring down at a kneeling girl, but they ignored her and beat the man anyway. The knight, who had defeated the old man, was killed by a spear that flew toward them. The nobility, who had just moments before chuckling, fell silent. The other tried to run away, screaming in terror, but was stopped when they were encircled by a barrier.

'The grand duke is here!' A citizen screamed in happiness when he saw him walking closer in their direction.

"You nobles are nothing but a plague in this country." The nobles were trembling from the intense pressure he emitted. The castle suddenly exploded, killing everyone inside.

'Grand Duke! What are you doing?!'

'The Grand duke is rebelling!'The citizens quickly ran away from him, but the duke's knight didn't hurt any of them.

'Everyone! Stay calm! The Grand Duke is on our side!' A little boy passed by, making every citizen stop and look at him.

"Duke! Please spare us!"

"He will not harm us! We have the blood of nobility!"

With avarice in his eyes, the man who had previously questioned the Duke said. It appears that the others attempted to gain the duke's favor after being readily persuaded by his remarks. I rose from my chair and walked out.

The duke hurried over to me upon seeing me. The duke actually knelt in front of me, and the crowd began whispering to one another. It was obvious that his abrupt behavior had shocked his subordinates.

"I apologize for ruining your break, my liege." Gasps can be heard everywhere.

"*Fake cough* You don't have to call me, like that." I muttered under my breath and pulled my hood down in embarrassment.

'Could it be?'

'Isn't he?'

'The almighty being has come to save us from suffering! ' The citizens bow their heads down to the ground.

"Hah! Do you think we nobles can be easily fooled by this idiot?! We are the highest of the highest! And you! are far from us!" With a manic gesture, he pointed at me with his finger. When lightning struck close by, he started to fear for his life. I moved in closer, gesturing with my finger at the nobles as well.

"From today onwards, you guys are no longer nobles! I will send you to the deserted place, together with the other corrupt nobles, and rot in there for eternity!" The entire kingdom was encircled by light. Every dishonest noble in the realm was banished to the desert.
