A few days after Alex traveled for business meetings he decided to take a walk along the busy street and just as he was walking an elderly man carried vegetable bumps into him.

"Oh! Sorry I wasn't looking I didn't see you there am old, and my visions are not as clear anymore"

"It alright sir let me help you", he helps the man stand up and just then a picture of his mother fell from his suit pocket, he picks the picture and turns to look at Alex and then looks at the picture again.

"How did you get this picture?", he grabs Alex by the hand feeling all emotional tell me" Alex frowns "She's my mother" he said

"Come with me" he grabs Alex by the hand and they arrive at a small odd looking house by the riverside after a few minutes "come in" he walks into the house and heads to the room, bringing out a picture of him and Alex's mom in it.

confusion struck him, "how did you get that who are you to my mother".

"sit, I am your uncle, your mother's older brother". He broke the news to him, Alex was beyond surprised he never knew he had any family members left.

"I never knew I had an uncle much less any family member".

"You must have forgotten due to the injuries you sustained during the accident".

"I know I couldn't remember most of my childhood memories but, I know my mother died in an accident a few years ago when I was still a kid, but she never mentioned anything about you".

"Your mother didn't die she was murmured", the atmosphere in the room was getting tense Alex was shocked to the core by what he had just heard.

"Your mother Catherine and I were the only ones left after the death of our parents. Your mother was so stubborn she wanted to go to the city and see the good things of life. Several years after she left she came back with a man and she was already 5 months pregnant with you.

Meanwhile In an exclusive restaurant decorated with chandeliers and the floor was made or white marble it was a place fit for nobles. Lilly was seen with Kyle at a table discussing with a waiter by their side.

"I thought we were going to grab a bite", she asked whispering to him, "isn't this too expensive?".

He smiled at her "don't worry this is my property you don't need to feel restrained"

"Wow" she gaps in surprise.

"Quit that and place your order. The waiter is not gonna place the order for you right," he said in a mocking tone.

"Umm just give me paste and cheese and a glass of juice".

"What? just that common, remember I'm the one paying you know that right?" He said asking her

"I know but i'm okay with that thank you".

"Well if you say so, get me steak and a glass of champagne"

"Right away sir" the waiter left.

"Soo.... Lilly, can you tell me more about yourself?".

"Well there's really nothing to talk about. I stayed alone and I lost my parents at a tender age was taken to an orphanage cause I had no one I escaped there at the age of 15. Since then I have been struggling with life all by myself" she said, smiling trying to cover her sad look.

"Oh am sorry I didn't mean to bring up bad memories"

"No, I'm okay" the waiter came back with a food tray, "miss here's your order and yours sir".

" Thank you" she leaves.

"Your mother came and introduced a man to me and told me his lover and her husband to be, I was furious at your mother for her lack of self control". he breathed heavenly and sighted.

"Wait you mean she was pregnant and she wasn't married to him yet?.

"Yes exactly she said he would get married to her after they had the baby, but fate took her by surprise. I hadn't seen her after she left with her husband even after you were born she didn't come". he paused and sipped a glass of water

"Few years later she came to me crying that her husband had gotten married to a wealthy woman to sustain his business from falling. She said she was left behind and he didn't care for her anymore, she was being treated badly by his wife.

"Wait" my mother was considered a mistress then meanwhile she is the first wife", he clenched his fist in anger.

"Well in the world of the rich it doesn't matter who is first as long as she wasn't married properly she's considered a mistress,so she left saying she was going to get you so you both could leave, few months later she came back to my house at night panicking and feeling frightened she gave me a document and told me to give you when your older but after she left, I heard you both were engaged in an accident I went in search of you, i couldn't find you".

"Are you saying the accident was a planned one to get rid of me and my mother?", Alex asked in a cold voice.

"Yes! After I got home I took the document to check and see what was written on It, I was shocked by what I discovered", he stood and and brought out a document from the drawer and hands Alex the document.

He reads the top DNA TEST and open it, shocked was a smaller word to describe the look on Alex's face as he turned and stared at his uncle, "Wait, my father is actually Oliver Qin, the owner of Qin enterprise? I am his son? ".

"Yes i did not know his identity yet but I was beyond surprised too I couldn't believe it, that was what confirmed my suspicion of your mother being murmured".

Alex stand up in anger, his phone beeps "sir your next meeting is in15 minutes time, i'm on my way now', "Uncle I have to go for now but I'll be back I need to investigate this thank you" he stands up and leaves the house.

The car arrives shortly after Alex enters the car, 'I want you to investigate the Qin family. I need very detailed information about them".

"Yes sir", he drives off.

Lilly I'd like to invite you over to our house if you don't mind".

"Umm I don't know it not right, with all the rumors going around"

"What is not right about it and forget about the rumor it normal okay? As a friend I'm inviting you, remember you owe me one".

"fine okay I will I need to head back now when your ready you tell me" she stands and turns to leave but stops, "thank you for the meal again.

"Let me drop you off"

"No! am good Thanks and goodbye".
