33. The Forever Knights Castle

June 22, 2010.

The next morning, we went to a cafe for breakfast. And of course, it couldn't be that simple.

As we walked near the construction site, two workers fell from a great height due to a broken cable.

Again I didn't have to do anything. Ashley used the power of her charm and captured the construction workers with telekinesis.

The workers calmly landed on the ground, not understanding anything. And again, no one except us understood anything.

Ashley is great, she did everything quickly and cleanly. She perfectly understands that I do not like attention.

For me, even if no one knows that we exist. Glory is certainly wonderful, for some. But for me, she's only a problem.

I woke up very rested and full of energy. When I was brushing my teeth, I remembered one thing.

This aquapark has a story with the original Ben. Due to his small stature, Ben could not ride one of the slides and therefore he wanted to turn into a tall alien. But for him, as always, everything went wrong, and he became a Grey Matter.

After that, he was kidnapped by a crazy alien lover. This lover wanted to sell Ben, as a Grey Matter form, to the Forever Knights.

But despite the fact that they are kind of like knights, no honor in them a penny. And they betrayed the crazy guy and wanted to kill him.

In general, it all ended with Ben destroying the castle of the Forever Knights. He's just not far from here.

Why did I remember this? This castle has a good collection of alien technology. I am in such a mood now and I want to do something.

It was still early morning, everyone was still asleep. Even Grandpa. Apparently they were very tired yesterday.

So I decided to succumb to my mood and turned into my favorite runner, I ran towards the castle of the Forever Knights.

At first, I wanted to do it the old fashioned way, turn into a Ghostfreak, get inside and borrow everything I need.

But again, my mood today is not the same. I decided to get inside by force. And don't even use the power of the aliens.

I realized that this would give me problems. But I will face the Forever Knights in the future. One invasion of their castle won't change anything.

First, running closer to the castle, I became myself and put on my suit.

After that, I sent a wave of echolocation to the entire castle. Apparently, there are exactly 50 people in the castle now. And the place I'm looking for is on the second floor.

Secondly, what happens if I supply several times more Mana than is needed for the spell?

I had several hypotheses. First, the spell will just get stronger. Second, nothing will happen, and the extra Mana will simply go into the air. And third, the spell is duplicated.

As can see, the third hypothesis was correct. I am even very pleased with this. Will not need to cast spells several times in such situations.

It will also be necessary to check whether it is possible to increase the power of the spell if I increase the amount of Mana in a different way.

Something I was thinking. There are already a dozen knights running. Apparently they heard a noise.

Satisfied with the result, I took the staff tighter in my right hand and looked at the approaching Forever Knights. There were about twenty of them.

Finally, when they got there, they started talking about the invasion and that kind of nonsense.

I did not listen to them and ran towards them with a staff at the ready.

Seeing that I was not listening, and generally ran to the attack, they got angry and started shooting at me with their laser spears.

I either dodged the shots or took them on my staff. Since it is magical, the staff is capable of absorbing energy and dissipating it. He doesn't care about laser shots.

Having reached them, I attacked. Using my fighting skills, I knocked out all the knights in just a minute. Minus 25. Half left.

They are kind of like knights, and they even have spears and swords, but they absolutely do not know how to fight.

Having finished with them, I ran to the second floor. Once I got up, I used the spell again and covered all the cameras. Just in case.

This time, ten knights greeted me. It took me two minutes to complete them. These already knew how to fight a little. Minus 35.

I was too lazy to do anything with him, so I just flew up with the help of telekinesis.

The shot went right under my feet, destroying the half of the castle in the process. Well at least the collection of alien equipment was on the other side of the castle.

All the knights that were in the hall looked in shock at the destruction they had arranged.

Hearing me, they just got mad and started yelling at me. Wow, how many bad words there were. Pawns ears.

Not listening to their screams, I landed in the center of the knight cluster and began to exterminate them.

Having examined the whole room, or rather everything that was left of it, I saw a door. She just led where I needed. But there were three knights inside.

It was Enoch and two of his subordinates. The Enoch is local leader. He is the Section Head of this branch of the Forever Knights.

I already had some fun, so I decided to finish quickly.

Going inside, I immediately attacked them. They obviously did not expect such harsh actions from me, so they were a little confused.

Well, yes, they thought that I would start a dialogue, as is their custom here. Yeah, I have nothing else to do.

The two knights were very capable. Obviously the best I've met today. No wonder they were the personal bodyguards of Enoch. But I quickly coped with them.

And the Enoch himself was a complete disappointment. I thought, since he is a whole Section Head, he must be strong. If only. He's still a weakling.

Seeing how I defeated his bodyguards, all his arrogance subsided, and he asked me for mercy. And this is the Knight?

I felt really disgusted, so I just hit him on the head with a staff and knocked him out. Not forever, of course. A similar desire arose, I confess, but I immediately changed my mind. I just don't want to mess with him.

And that was minus 50.

Having dispersed Bo's Staff, I went to inspect the collection. There was a lot here, but only a few things interested me.

Firstly, there was a very good core for a spaceship. This type of core is incredibly rare in the galaxy.

The core was broken, of course, but if I fix it and put it in the ship, I get an incredibly fast transport. Perhaps even one of the fastest in the universe.

Also, I found a couple more parts to fix the core itself.

Secondly, there were a large number of crystals that the knights used to create their laser spears. These crystals are similar to those used in the Star Wars universe to create lightsabers, but they are slightly different and need to be used in a special way.

It's good that Morgana had hacked the Forever Knights' network long ago, and there was a way to process these crystals.

I took all the crystals that were here. They will be useful to me, I have long wanted to make weapons for some of my aliens.

Thirdly, I found something that just blew my brain.

On one of the stands lay a small cube, the size of a regular dice. I immediately understood what it was.

One day, I read in the Plumbers database about the once powerful race that once ruled the entire galaxy.

As always happens in such situations, this race was overthrown.

So, they were so strong thanks to their special technology associated with magic. This little cube is part of their technology.

There was almost nothing in the database about this race, but it was written about this cube.

This simple-looking, small cube is a spatial storage. Undoubtedly a very useful thing. I just missed something like that.

I was overwhelmed with joy. Therefore, I quickly took a cube and activated it with my magic power.

I had little time, so I quickly put all my purchases in a cube.

Also, I collected all consumables from the warehouse. There were several laser spears, and also various metals, crystals, and the like.

After taking everything, I turned into an XLR8 and returned to my family. They should have woken up by now.
