The First Stars Shine The Brightest
Kade Mizpha doesn't really care about anything--but he's not a jerk either. In fact, he's actually the heir to multi-million-dollar businesses scattered across the Philippine Archipelago. But surprise! he would rather die than inherit it. Past that blunt and sharp (though he can tame it) tongue of his, he's actually a pretty decent guy if he says so himself. The thing is, his only answer to problems is to run.
Minette Estoia is the new girl in town, but she doesn't give two cents about fitting in. The only thing she does give a two cents about is her bucket list and quoting her: 'oooh, im getting ripped for this!'. Though she often gets in trouble because of it, (a.k.a landing into jail twice), she isn't going to stop there. This is her only goal before finally accepting her fate. Of what you ask? Of dying.
When their lives got tangled up by a car wanting to send them to their deaths- which lands them both on each others' nerves- they find their lives connected by different circumstances, and of course, Minette's bucket list.
Locked and loaded with only that, a suitcase full of two weeks worth of clothing and Kade's ATM, they go on a trip around the country to check the remaining of Minette's bucket list.
Though as they slowly reach their goal, it was only then that Minette discovered that there is more to life than just completing her list and dying. And it's only then that Kade discovered there's more to life when he stops running away from everything and sticking to the past.
But what happens when life tries to take that away from you?
Besides, a boring guy and a dying girl isn't the best combination, if you ask me.
