Z poised his hand in front of him, fingers extended strangely. In an instant, Ash's arm was cleaved open, a gaping wound left rushing down his arm. Ash clenched his teeth, and his veins bulged as he converted his neutral mana to negative mana. The damaged flesh began to stitch itself together, and the wound closed and healed. With a grunt, Ash remarked, "What a waste of mana."

He turned his gaze towards Z. "Hey, Kaito," he said, "Are you going easy on me?"
