Commotion

As the hologram appears, signaling the end of the lesson, the classroom door swings open. Students pour out into the bustling hallway, excitedly chatting about the upcoming sports festival and the complexities of the new theoretical magic they've been learning.

Mr. Kurokawa, the teacher, tries to make an announcement about the early transfer of some students from the neighboring Eden. His voice struggles to compete with the commotion, and most of the students are already on their way out. Only a handful, including Mai, happen to hear his words. Her ears perk up as she catches the last part of his message, wondering about the students who might have already arrived from the other Eden.

Mai turns to Akira, who's walking beside her, and asks, "Did you hear that, Akira? Some neighboring Eden's students are transferring early. Think we'll see some?"

Akira, barely paying attention responds, "Huh? Maybe, I don't know."
