Akashic Records

The talisman worked, lines inscribed with unknown letters emerged from the talisman and crawled up throughout the land he was currently standing.

Soon, Tyler was out of his horrific subconscious mind.

The doctor was standing beside Tyler, holding a paper containing what seems to be Tyler's test record.

"What happened? I just left for a few minutes and when I came back the nurse had already placed you into the bed, and was about to call me," The doctor gave a discerning look.

"I don't know, I heard a ringing then my vision went black," Tyler was telling the truth. There was no use in lying and it was too troublesome to think of any excuse.

The doctor was skeptical be she kept her mouth shut, Tyler's body doesn't show any signs of lying or just he's very good at it.

"Any way, rest here for a few minutes before heading home. If you have any cases of being unconscious suddenly just find me. You can ask my whereabouts from my colleagues here; just say you're looking for Dr. Linda."

Tyler knew what she really meant to say, whether it was a positive or negative way, she wanted to keep a lookout on him.

Linda might have some suspicion against him since she doesn't want Tyler to go to another doctor.

'Could she be the one who cursed me?' Tyler thought. He controlled himself instead of inspecting if Linda has negative aura around her.

It might be true that he can defeat the curse use, but in order to not let innocent civilian be caught up in their fight, it's best to launched a surprise attack.

It really is hard to be on the light while the enemy is in the darkness, you always have to be vigilant.

Tyler has now made a goal, he needs to learn the predecessor of curses, shamanism. Curse user can detect other user based on the amount of negative energy surrounding them.

On the other hand, shamanism revolves around using nature energy for them to manifest various spell. He needs to learn that so he can launch a surprise attack without the trace of negativity.

Time passed and Tyler received his go signal to go home. He bid farewell and offered his thanks.

Of course, Linda didn't say good bye without reminding him of his community service which he will do until he fixes the room without any help.

After all was said and done, Tyler was thankful that he got off easily and no one was hurt beside him. Though this goes to show that the perpetuator for the curse magic is his enemy more than the personal level.

He arrived home and was greeted by his parents, "Was the first day of school, ok? College is different now, you should get your studies going and limit your hobbies," His mother reminded him.

"It was okay," There was no use in admitting the damage he hadn't actually done, plus his mind was in shock because of this afternoon's event, his mother should understand him if she were to discover the truth.

"Cut the man some slack, he always does good in everything you do. All your words will appear nagging if you do that every single day," His father who was watching television jumped into the conversation.

The bickering continued up until the dinner has passed, it made the eating unpleasant. He couldn't wait for them to stop arguing, this happens every time so he was accustomed to it.

Is a relationship with no arguments really just a distant fantasy, was there really no chance for them to exist in the world and for him to have that.

He contemplated as he brought the dishes to the sink.

Of course, despite his parent's bickering his mother didn't forget to make them wash the dishes.

As soon as his sister heard the word 'wash the dishes' she immediately went inside and lock the door to her room.

He sighed as he has no choice to wash the dishes now. Their parents are bickering so if Tyler and his sister began arguing then it would result to more noise hovering around their house.

Tyler had just experienced a horrid event so he was not up to such task.

A few minutes passed and he finished washing the dishes. He changed his clothes since his clothes were wet.

If his mother were to see him, he would surely be reprimanded and her attention will go from his father to him.

Tyler went to his room and booted up his pc, after a while he went to a browser and searched necessary details about shamanism. He went to different blogs, websites and even threads discussing shamanism.

There was information about certain spells, but he was not interested to those. He was looking for an actual usage of shamanism. Through the Akashic Records, he knows that there is a high possibility that real shamanism is present in the modern world not just in fiction.

But, if thinking about it, they have been undetected by people so why would they show their powers and share them to others in the world wide web?

It was illogical.

This made Tyler think of new method as he laid in bed thinking.

He closed his eyes for deep thinking.

"The Akashic Records!" He was so silly; the answer was right here with him.

He was so excited that he immediately stands in his bed.

But he stopped, on second though. He doesn't even know where the book is. It just appeared in his subconscious mind.

If the Akashic Records was really stored up in his subconscious mind, how would he be able to get it much less find information about shamanism.

His mind hurt from all the thinking until he remembered something.

There was this concept called lucid dreaming. It is said to be state in which someone is aware that they are dreaming and control everything in it.

It's most likely the state in the subconscious mind. He now knows how to get to the Akashic Records, he only needs to know how to do lucid dreaming.

Thank you for reading :)
