A week after the whole incident, Lucianne was summoned by the council. Lucianne was going to the council meeting holding in the Palace of Atlantis, governed by Melissa (blue). Usually, these meetings would take place in the headquarters were none of the member had any advantage location wise. There were sometimes when such meetings took place in a particular region governed by the Leader of the council who presided over the council for two years after which a new one was chosen. The queen of Atlantis was the leader of the sea folks and they lived under water. Each member of the council came into the palace via an ibi mirror each accompanied by a single person. Anne made her way out of an ibi mirror with a young witch.

Other council members came out from the ibi Mirror and after few minutes the meeting began in a room and all members were sitted in a round table. Blue( Melissa), Red ( Wura), Green ( Evelyn), Purple ( Ama) , White ( Lilith) and Queen of witches Lucianne.

After everyone was seated, each on his own appointed seat, Melissa spoke.

"We'll now begin today's council meeting. First thing we'll be discussing today is the white witches negligence to guard and rule her kingdom effectively causing mayhem in different parts of the world, what do you have to say for yourself o queen of demons"? Melissa said.

"Well," Lilith said nervously, she had not expected her matters were going to be the first to be discussed, especially since they had not caught the real culprit behind the duplication issue.

"Curse you Anne," Lilith said as she noticed Lucianne's smiling face.

"We have finally made some progress in tracking the real amulet".

"Oh, really, please what progress exactly,? do tell." Lucianne asked knowing Lilith was spitting bull.

"Well, telling you will jeopardize our investigations, we don't know exactly who is involved so I'll like to keep things very discreet. There's no need to worry, I'm personally dealing with the investigations".

"Ohhh, is that so Anne asked mockingly and by personally do you mean Slank is doing your Job for you again while you lazy around"?

"Shut up Anne" Lilith said as she could no longer take Lucianne's taunts.

"Are we going to talk about Lucianne messing up or what"? Lilith asked angered

"And in what way did I mess up"? Lucianne asked calmly

"You allowed that young child to be captured and her seal was broken". Lilith said

"You mean my daughter"? Lucianne asked

"Whatever, you know who I'm talking about, Now explain yourself"

Although they were all hoping to hear Lilith's explanation about the missing Amulet and how it could affect their life.

They couldn't deny the real reason they were all here was because of Miri.

All of them except Melissa ofcourse, she couldn't care less about what happened to the child, as long as she doesn't do anything to her or her people she doesn't really care about Miri.

"Well, first of all I'll like to give you an applause for making a fool of yourself Lilith. Everyone here knows of your incompetence and if not because of the strength you possess the demons would have long since rebelled just as they are doing now. Not that we care, as long as it doesn't directly affect anyone here I know we won't mind having someone more competent lead a group that it nothing than a ticking time bomb, still we would rather deal with you than anyone else, at least we know you lack the ambition to further lead the demons out of your current territory and occupy more". Lucianne's word hit Lilith were it hurts but she knew Lucianne was right. She had always neglected the demons and let Slank handle most of the work. She knew that the fact someone had dared to steal the amulet from right under her nose shows that there were some in her kingdom that no longer feared her and she knew trouble loomed in the future if she doesn't act quickly.

"I'm going to kill you someday Anne, and I promise you, it's going to be slow and painful" Lilith said as she sat down

"Now to the main business Melissa said, What are we to do with the girl"?

"We can't possibly lock her power's again, but we can't simply live her alone like that again, or can we" Melissa said hoping to make everything quicker. She was starting to get bored.

"Concerning that, I have brought her here so we can her from her mouth what she wants to do".

They were all surprised since they didn't think Lucianne would bring the girl here with her.

"You can come Miri".

Miri who was the one that had accompanied Lucianne, came in. They all started at the dark skin girl with brown eyes. One by one each member of the council could not believe their eyes as they could all sense how much magic was coming from the young girl.

Even Melissa could not help but be a bit intrigued.

"So you decided to play it like this" Ama the purple witch said.

Lucianne smiled at the witch, she had always loved Ama's ability to grasp things quickly.

Miri stood beside her mother as she looked around at the members of the council.

"So they are the ones mom and Kim told me about. They are the ones that decided to seal my powers when I was still a baby. They are the ones who took my powers, making me feel...." Miri could only clench her fist tighter in frustration.

"Are you going to speak child or stare at us" Eve the queen of elves said.

"Like my mom said I'm Miri She finally spoke. And although I don't know why you all are discussing my life without my permission I'd like to be given a benefit of a doubt and be allowed to practice magic freely.$

"Did your mom explain the circumstances of your birth". Ama asked and which Miri nodded

"You are a child born of abomination and a kind we've never seen or heard of before. You are nothing but an unknown entity we can't take the risk of letting you roam the word freely with your magic, not knowing when you'll spark and possibly go crazy like your people did. Now I don't mind letting you practice magic but there has to be some assurance that you won't turn on the world and destroy everything in your path, just like your people did". Ama said

"I'm not my people, I never knew them, you all made sure I never did" Miri said with a shaky voice

"And we would do it again if it meant keeping peace in the magic world". Wura finally spoke

"Your people broke alot of our laws and after treating our warnings like mere barking, did we issue their extermination. Did you think it was fun wiping out an entire magical community?"

"We had friends at Ikuwamiri and some had family there..." Wura said looking at Miri

"It brought us no pleasure but it had to be done. Now tell me why should I listen to one more word from you when you are nothing but a potential threat." Melissa said seeing Wura was getting emotional

"A threat to whom"? Miri asked

"A threat to the world, a threat to the magical community itself, a threat to everyone close to you, and a threat to yourself" Wura answered after gaining her cool

"I saw first hand what Ikuwamiri did to people and even you were a product of their madness so tell me, why should I release a weapon of possible mass destruction into the world." Wura asked Miri.

"Because I deserve a chance, I deserve a chance to prove that I'm not just my people. I'm me and me alone. I'm not an abomination or a weapon, I'm Miri! and I will not be limited to just whatever you think I am. Just give me six months, if after training with my mother in Une, and I'm unable to control my magic then you can seal it again, but you need to let me choose my path"? Miri said.

"Six months uhn" Lilith said.

"I think it's playing with fire allowing her to roam about with her magic" Melissa said.

"Even when speaking your powers leak out uncontrollably" Melissa said pointing at the walls of the room they were in that had cracked when Miri was speaking although they had began to self repair, it still shows Miri wanting to learn how to control her power's was something they had to really think about.

"I know you all have ulterior motives and we're pretending we don't, but we can't let that cloud our judgement. Melissa said via a mind link. She's dangerous and there is no doubt about that". She added
