1 Prologue

In a realm without a name, a world lies dormant, formed but neglected. Aion surveys the landscape, witnessing its rampant disorder. Volcanic eruptions rend the earth, while the sea surges to envelop the entire sphere.

"The sands of time are running out for this realm as well."

A voice breaks the silence, belonging to a celestial being Diana. Aion, however, refuses to meet the newcomer's gaze, opting instead to close his eyes in a futile attempt to evade the reality before him. Yet, the deity of eternity eventually opens his eyes, his resolve unwavering.

"No. I shall grant this world the gift of time itself."

Diana's eyes widen with alarm as she gazes at Aion, uncertain of his intentions but grasping the gravity of his plan. Aion intends to offer himself as a sacrifice to give birth to life.

"No, you cannot—must not—commit such an act. It would leave Tartarus unchecked to wield his power as he pleases!"

Meeting Aion's gaze, Diana feels a chill of fear creeping into her heart for the first time.

"You underestimate me, Diana. I am prepared to sacrifice our entire kind."

For the first time, Diana comprehends the depth of Aion's yearning to create mortal beings. Tartarus's ominous words echo in her mind.

"Be wary of Aion. He acts without any regard for divines."

Struggling to maintain her composure, Diana finds herself overwhelmed by dread. The notion of her own demise, previously unthinkable, now looms before her with terrifying clarity.

"This is impossible! Only Father possessed such power."

"Tartarus holds greater dominion, yet he still bows before me, for he knows the divine essence I carry from father. And now, I shall use it to bind every deity to this world!"

Aion produces a luminous blue orb, brimming with divine essence. Casting one last glance at his surroundings, he imbues the orb with his divinity, binding himself and all others to the world.

The orb ascends into the sky, casting a cerulean glow across the land. Every deity, from Uranus to Thanatos, is ensnared by chains extending from the orb. This process spans eons, utilizing the essence of each deity to mend the wounded world. Thus, every divine being becomes tethered to the realm for eternity, save for the god of eternity himself.

And thus the planet Aion is created.
