21 VIRTUAL PRACTICE

The film again jumped to another scene where a beautiful maiden stood on a mountaintop overlooking the hills and valleys below. Beside her stood the middle-aged man who was her father.

"Jaya, you have already surpassed me yet it's only been fifty years, you have great potential and it will therefore be good to ascend now, the higher realm is a bit dangerous but you will manage, don't rush into the matters of men and women first, try to have your own strength before you focus on them, remember this, humans are treacherous but not all of them are rotten, am sure you'll meet some good people out there and make some new friends, that's all I can say for now, you are ready to ascend now..."

A scene emerged in the virtual space where Ye Chen was standing in an empty space in a forest with thick trees while facing wooden dummies of different sizes and shapes.

He subconsciously rolled his sleeves and entered a stance before rushing forward as he wielded his fists lunching himself at the dummies at different angles with different techniques.

All this were run by Xiao while Ye Chen would experience this as if he was the one doing it and it could therefore be saved in his memory to make it easier to practice outside.

The simulations changed from him lunching out to kicking out then to other styles like palms and chopping out which followed subsequently.

As the simulation went on, all the techniques were combined into one as he wielded them subsequently without a rest in between.

He was like a peerless master who had mastered all his skills to the maximum of the skill.

In his previous life, he had practice one on one combat in the military but as compared to what was here, it could be considered child's play. This one went way beyond the limitations of the human body. He only hoped that the elemental stone would help him to be able to practice all this techniques.

With a phew sound, he breathed a sigh of relief as he wiped out the sweat on his forehead while breathing heavily.

It was only at this moment that he saw his virtual hands had developed some calluses and marks on them.

At times he would be running miles upon miles while other times he would be lifting weights. The experience was so real that he wished to always stay in this virtual space to practice every day.

As days went on in the simulations he grew more proficient and precise in his strikes and techniques that he forgot about himself as he went into a loop of activities while honing his skills more and more.

It could be said that if this was real and he met his previous self, he might beat tens of them black and blue without breaking out into sweat. Unfortunately for him, this was only virtual as he could only keep the experience with him but not have the power. But he was a bit happy to gain the experience without breaking a sweat.

'This system sure is a good thing, I can learn any skill I wish then later practice it in the outside world, just how cool, and with this time manipulation inside, I can practice for hundred of years yet it's just some minutes outside...'

His thoughts ran wildly as he mused over the idea of being able fo practice even in his slumber.
