Origin Scroll

"So, what do you think of this place? Do you love it?" Cheyenne asked enthusiastically after showing him his room.

It was a room just opposite hers. Something she had chosen meticulously to stay near him. She did not know why but she felt very strange near him. Like the kind of where she just wanted to spend all her eternity with him.

"Yeah, the room is good. And you even went to great lengths to have an indoor gym for me, I guess we shall be practicing here with you right?" He asked mischievously as he held her tightly.

"Hey, it's still daytime, people might see us hehe!" She immediately pulled away from him.

"Oh, by the way. We wake up at five, everybody and we go for some drills up to eight, then we have some classes for the day but they are not that mandatory. What you must not miss is the morning drills as they are a must, then you can do anything you want during the day. You can look for others to train with or just relax. But once in a while, we have to go out for some missions and other stuff, so that's it I guess, welcome once again!"

She introduced him to the simple rules around.

"That is cool. I guess I should go in, when can we meet by the way?"

"Don't look for me. Am a busy person, I will be the one to look for you, maybe bye!" She said while already leaving.

She didn't want to stay here anymore as she might find herself doing that with him again.

"Xiao, I guess we are free to start officially, right?" He telepathically transmitted to Xiao as he was already dying to go straight into training.

"Yeah, all is well and accomplished brother, let's do it. I have compiled all materials I could search for and I bet this is the best magical cultivation martial system you will ever find. Let;'s call it the Origin Scroll, what do you say boss?" Xiao transmitted back telepathically.

"Am cool with that. Now, tell me how the routine will be like?" He asked again as he laid on the bed.

"Simple, we jut have to do what we feel like doing, like for example, why don't we go out for now and get to know some few experts that we might be sparring with in the few coming days?" Xiao said as he materialized in the air again after weeks of audacious work in his virtual space.

"Yeah, that is a good suggestion, but why don't I try and familiarize myself with that scroll first then we hit the gym and more exercises?" He gave his own suggestion before raising as he went towards the indoor gym just across his bedroom.

He calmed his mind as he meditated to enter tyhe right mode before he dived into studying the scroll.

As he sat down, his consciousness slowly left him before he appeared in the virtual space once again.

A big black scroll with symbols rather than words emerged before him.

He did not hesitate to try and memorize it. He came to understand that this kind of cultivation methods could not be written down, no plagiarism was a given here.

But by writing it in symbols, it could be written down but would lose its effects once one read through the whole of it.

But since he had Xiao, it would just be engraved i is brain and he would slowly by slowly understand the later parts as he advanced more and more levels.

He did not understand this glyphs at first but with the help of Xiao stimulating his neurons he slowly started to translate them to words he could understand.

One by one, they became clear and precise. He completely forgot about time and delved into the manual.

It talked about the Origin energy integrated with other spiritual energies.

It was rather of a devourer type of magic that would devour all other types of energies and make it to Origin energy or even change the form to the desired energy like spiritual Qi or Mana, or arcane energy.

It would channel all kinds of energies through the blood streams then harness it at the Origin core in his abdomen. From the core, the different energies would n]be transformed back to Origin energy then could be used by him.

It was more like a take in take out scenario.

The energy circulation involved two parts. The first part was harnessing the different energies from heaven and earth.

Then the second part was where energy had to be summoned from the core to other body parts. This was the hardest part as it involved intricately channeling small amounts of energy to all cells.

It happened at a molecular level and just a simple mishap and he might explode into a blood mist or even detonate the energy core and become dust.

Another setback was on how to summon the energy when in fight or flight.

It would take some time to channel it at the lower levels and he could already be in danger by the time he could gather enough energy to counter the situation.

He therefore had to live in standby mode and be ready as if he would be ambushed any moment. He had to walk as a wanted man. Something not so good, but since it involved his advancement, he had no choice here but to just do it.

The greatest benefit of this origin method was in martial arts mostly.

It would improve his perception and increase the chances of his body being compatible with all kinds of martial skills.

This meant that he could learn all kinds of martial arts that existed.

With this he was ready to start practicing officially. He went through his memorized version again ans again to make sure he was very familiar with every step just in case.
