Kim So Hee had been walking slowly back home. She had wanted to go back and tell Jiminie that this wasn't because the king hated him or even needed to replace him. She wanted to tell Jiminie that he would always be the one in the mad man's heart.

However, even then, she couldn't without coming off as someone who knew the king a little too much. 

Jiminie had been kept at a side of the Lycan palace that was always dark. It was so lifeless and the one place that the tortured souls had been wasted in. He had never experienced the other side of the Lycan kingdom.

The pretty alpha had never been to the one place that bloomed with life, the one place that the king himself had steered clear of because he didn't want his people to look at his lonely self with sad eyes. 

It was something that Agust had managed to keep secret for so long that even to this day, only the Lycans knew the lively side of the mad king. Only they had seen what it meant to be cared for by Agust.

So, when So Hee heard a horse in the distance, she braced herself for the worst. She knew Jiminie was a powerful alpha and alphas were possessive. This was good news for their kingdom because finally, life would bloom freely in their home.

"Well, I can take a punch or two for the sake of Helia," Kim Soo Hee said as she waited for the horse rider to reach him. Helia, was the name of their home, a name known only to the Lycans, and one that the entire realm beyond the Lycan kingdom itself didn't know of.

"Heyy!!!" Lee Tang shouted when he saw So Hee. He could smell the Lycan blood in the woman and whilst that scared him a little, he refused to think of the horrors that would follow if the woman wanted him dead.

Whoever she was, she had to be powerful, because Lee Tang could feel the pressure of her aura from a distance. But he wouldn't relent. He would get to the woman and find some answers. He would make sure Jiminie was alright.

"Yaa!!" Lee Tang shouted again and So Hee stared at him blankly. She could tell that this wasn't the same man she had talked to earlier. This wasn't Jiminie, so she had no reason to go slow on him.

She hated being referred to as 'Hey' and 'Yaa' but she would wait and see for herself. Expectedly the horse rider stopped right beside her, the fury on his face so newton So Hee as she could have sworn she had never seen this man, ever.

"For a werewolf, you're too far from home, young wolf," So Hee said, her voice cold and chilly, you would freeze and have ice creams in it for years and never lose the frozen temperatures. 

"What did you do to Jiminie, huh? What the fuck did you do to him to make him break like that!!" Lee Tang asked angrily as he got off of his horse and jumped right at So Hee who was clearly waiting for him.

When Lee Tang Jumped, So Hee thwarted him to the side, forcing the werewolf beta to the side, roughly that she could have sworn she heard bones break. But that didn't keep Lee Tang down, as he rushed to So Hee and started fighting.

Maybe he was really stupid, or he was just a tired wolf who had had enough of his best friend falling apart. 

He was sick of the games everyone had been playing with Jiminie over the past. If anyone didn't know how loyal he was to his best friend, they would have assumed that Lee Tang had a little crush on the alpha, but was that far from the truth though? 

No one in their right mind went berserk for their alphas and did crazy things like this, but maybe there was something else. Maybe there was an explanation he needed so badly he was losing his mind for it.

Then again, would violence ever solve anything?

"What the fuck are you even talking about? And who the fuck is Jiminie?" So Hee asked angrily, even though a part of her was confused. She could have sworn she didn't do shit to the rebellious alpha.

She had let him go untouched because she may have been Agust's enforcer and best friend, but she was smart enough to remember that Agust never compromised when it came to the ones he loved.

Besides, she had seen for herself the kinds of hell that Agust was willing to go to for Jiminie.

Jiminie was precious and So Hee knew that too. Soon enough the entire realm would learn that the Lycan king had something he would never want to lose, someone he loved so much the universe would have to take notes from.

"So, it really was you, huh? You know, I defended you. I told Jiminie that you didn't mean to hurt him. That the invite we conveniently got was probably just an invite from Agust because the bastard king missed him.

"I defended you and assured him that you wouldn't have come this far just to throw it in Jiminie's face that you were the one Agust chose. But now I don't even know anymore. If you want your king so badly, then fucking tell him to reject Jiminie, alright?

"Tell that Agust of yours to reject Jiminie and spare him the suffering!!" Lee Tang said as he threw punches at So Hee who had long stopped fighting him. If Lee Tang hadn't been so angry, he would have realized that the Lycan had not fought him.

"What's wrong with the prince consort, wolf?" So Hee asked softly, her voice and words making Lee Tang stop.

"Prince Consort?" Lee Tang asked, slowly realizing that maybe, just maybe he had been right and this woman hadn't come here to fuck around with Jiminie like the damn bitches who were always interested in royalty.

"He is our King's erasthai, so that makes him Helia's prince Consort," So Hee explained as she pushed Lee Tang off of him gently. She could tell that the man was just worried for Jiminie, but then again, weren't they all?

"What the fuck is Helia? Is that the name of the bitch your king is screwing to make my best friend be in so much pain? Did no one ever teach that bastard that werewolves actually feel the pain when someone fucks another?

"When the mate they mark sleeps with another like it's nothing for them?" Lee Tang asked angrily. 

He couldn't just understand what the fuck was going on here. King Agust was the devil but why the fuck did it seem like everyone was slowly accepting his twisted love for Jiminie? What the hell was even the meaning of this?

"You're the Kiyoto beta… so I won't lie to you, because I wouldn't lie to the prince Consort. Helia is the Lycan kingdom's name. The same kingdom that your alpha owns half of.

"No matter what happens, no matter how wide the territory Helia claims is, your alpha will always own half of it, because he bears the mark of the Lycan king, Ming Xiao Zhu," So Hee explained earnestly and Lee Tang stared at her before letting out a scoff.

"Funny how he shows it, because my alpha has been bleeding for the past ten minutes, and his mark burns. You need to teach your king or keep it in his pants then!" Lee Tang growled and So Hee sighed.
